Proof please, until you can substantiate your claim, it is nothing but populist political rhetoric.

I mentioned to a young woman today about this bill of which she had no knowledge (young people nowadays don't follow the news or politics) and she was surprised she could be jailed if she didn't buy health insurance. She said she didn't have the money so I guess she will go to the slammer under this bill.

With all the illegal immigrants and young people in jail we will need to build a whole lot more jail cells to hold these dastardly miscreants. I guess that's part of Obama's job strategy. Lots of jobs for prison guards.

What a great place is Obama's Amerika!
Shame on you, going around lying to young girls. Did you tell them you know Tom Cruise too?

Could you show me the provision in the bill that says this. It's obvious you know nothing about the bill, but are parrotting your favorite Fox News mouthpiece.
    Show me the rule.

I read your article and the flaw is that because people choose to go into debt, we must now change the medical care system in order to provide them with coverage.

Do you not see the perverse incentive in that?
It smells of another bailout for poor choices.

It's not always poor choices. Many times it's circumstances beyond their control. Illness, job loss, accident, divorce etc.
Our economy is based on debt. Without credit the economy will collapse.
Our entire culture promotes lending and debt. You can't have both.

But that still begs the question: What if families who choose to, or out of necessity, are unable to purchase health insurance??
