Leading Economic Indicators rise 0.9% in November

The leading index of economic indicators has risen almost a full percent in the last month, which means that the economy is improving under Obama, right? Hold on, folks. I am about to show you a little sleight of hand here.

If the economy is so good, then why is our economy still shedding almost half a million jobs per week? From this second article, we glean a little truth about the REAL situation with our economy:

Here, the article reports that unemployment claims have gone up 2 weeks in a row. Administration economists tell us that, at this time of year, blips are to be expected, but the overall unemployment rate is dropping. However, this one sentence paragraph says it all.

But the slide may signal that more filers are dropping off those rolls into extended benefits.

Those who slip into extended benefits are NOT COUNTED. A little smoke and mirrors here folks, more than worthy of the kinds of misrepresentations that Bush was known for. Yes, this recession began under Bush, and Obama promised change. And Obama kept his word. There IS change - LOTS of change. Unfortunately, it is not the kind of change Obama told us we would get. As a used car salesman, I truly believe that President Obama would earn "salesman of the year". And that's what it is, folks - A superb sales job, using nothing but smoke and mirrors. P. T. Barnum, move over. You have some serious competition now. Meanwhile, the screwing of the American people continues.

I would have to agree. I don't know any other politician who has earned a nobel peace prize based on his sales pitch.

Yes -- when there's a tick in the "right" direction, it's clear evidence that the policies are working. When there's a tick in the "wrong" direction, it's obviously due to "seasonal variability." :lol:

If the economy is doing so swimmingly, then why is Obama out saying the govt will go bankrupt without the healthcare plan?

In our nation Liberals, Socialists, Communists, are in the minority but since they control our media, and the Political leanings in the rest of the World we are at a disadvantage when it comes to the spread of propaganda.

Conservatives have allowed the left to go unchecked because the name calling and use of the tactics of the left have been effect in causing Conservatives to fear speaking out.

Obama and the rest of the left around the world can use obfuscation, double speak, straw men, better than most people would ever believe, and they have on their side scientists, and economists, who have been affected their whole lives by Liberal teachings and brain washing.

If this is not true how can anyone explain how Socialists/Communist ideas gain any foot hold in the face of historical evidence that clearly shows those systems have always ended in failure and have in many cases ended up causing not only National collapse but cost millions of lives?

worship of Obama I believe can be summed as "BLIND FAITH" which is defined as: belief without true understanding, perception, or discrimination.

But we don't have to forgive them because they know not what they do. We must redouble our efforts to stop the destruction their ignorance is about to unleash on us, by making sure we get, first the word and then the vote out to put an end to the Obama destruction of America.

Oh please everyone knows about how people don't get counted anymore after they stop job hunting or their benefits runs out. It's old news but apparently it's new news to you that things slow down in the winter especially construction. It's more difficult to build and pour concrete in the dead of winter.
