If you had actually read the original comment you would have known the statement was about the founders of the ACLU being communists which is exactly accurate.

But of course instead of that you chose to spiral off on some wild sarcastic tangent which had nothing to do with the original statement.

Actually all terrorists benifit from the ACLU not just in getting the same rights as US civilians have but the ACLU did its very best to make sure every single picture that might show some form of abuse of a prisoner was on every tv station so they could use it as another recruiting tool.

Islamic terrorists love the ACLU.
 
Oh and don't forget NAMBLA who the ACLU is representing for FREE for their right to distribute ways to entice little boys to go with adults.

Federal agents arrested Charles Rust-Tierney, the former president of the Virginia chapter of the ACLU, Friday in Arlington for allegedly possessing child pornography.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by ABC News, Rust-Tierney allegedly used his e-mail address and credit card to subscribe to and access a child pornography website.

The complaint states that federal investigations into child pornography websites revealed that "Charles Rust-Tierney has subscribed to multiple child pornography website over a period of years."

As recently as last October, the complaint alleges, "Rust-Tierney purchased access to a group of hardcore commercial child pornography websites."

The only condition he placed on the 'gifts' to the aclu was that he remain anonymous. I wonder if this was the same policy with his vet 'gifts.'

The aclu plays this same game, they'll 'help' or 'take sides' with a Conservative or non-partisan individual or group, the main theme of course...fully understood.

I think like any thing else the media has worked to sensationalize certain high profile cases of the ACLU while failing to underscore its general purpose, causing public perceptions to shift. That sort of agenda has been going on for a while now, I've noticed. The ACLU has done some great things. It fought against McCartneyism, Segregation, restrictions on Freedom of Speech issues, and other great things, but it's completely dishonest. It says that it's a strict constitutionalist organization yet it's silent on gun laws and bitches about nativity scenes that no one really cares about instead. It also pushes for pot legalization which isn't even in the Constitution. It's selective. It's a socially progressive agency, not completely interchangable with constitutionalist as shown above. There's nothing wrong with this. My problem with the organization is it's dishonest and claims to represent something that it doesn't.

Exactly, I just commented in another thread about guns, the ACLU is agenda driven, not constitutionally driven!

It's McCarthyism and if the ACLU fought against Joe McCarthy, then the ACLU definitely defined themselves as the enemy. Joe McCarthy was a great American. Probably saved our country from certain ruin but Communists agents infiltrating our government.
