Don't mean to derail the thread, but McCartney was full of sh*t. He denounced a bunch of innocent people to drum up support for reelection. Not as bad as the Red scare after WWI were thousands were actually deported without trial, but he's still a jack***

Are you having trouble reading? I said separation of state is not the Constitution.

    And I'm right.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

    Let's see the legal document.

No, its not in the Constitution.

And if you want to keep pretending it is, quote it in that document.

First, you need to show us the words in the document that you believe combines civil authority and religious authority.

Alright since all of you keep asking about the US Constitution showing seperation of Church and State.(Some of you really need to go back to US Civic 101)

The 1st Adm is the item you all are looking for to be more to the point it's The Establishment Clause of the 1st Adm. I suggest some of you go read Everson v.Board of Eduction (1947) Also I suggest you go and read what Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1802 to the Danbury Baptist Association of Conn. after they complained about Religion is considered as the first object of legislation.
