New Poll shows Tea party more popular than Republican Party

You are comparing people protesting against taxes to racist?

No. Read the actual post. I am saying that no issue is truly divided among party lines.

Yep, that's how I read it. Actually, this tactic is quite common among leftists in europe. I really hate to see this crap on this side of the atlantic however I'm beginning to see american liberals as nothing more than the lap dogs of european leftist these days. Pity.

Lol - settle down Captain Crystal Ball.

Then why bring up segregation? It seems to me that you wish to paint Tea Party protesters as racist. You could have said a couple of other issues that crosses party lines lines like illegal immigration, opposition or support for world trade,Abortion and a bunch of other issues.

It can seem to you whatever you want. You asked me to clear my position. I did. Would you like to keep bitching?

Mostly, republicans and democrats are representing their constituency as best as they can. The problem is I don't belong to the same culture as those in san francisco which is different than that represented in southern california all of which is a world away from my culture. The end result of multi-culturalism I believe. Pity.

Pretty much it is. There was a time in my youth when you had a conservative and liberal wing of both parties. Not so these days.

Liberals stereotypically like to paint any opposition as racist. You could have selected number of other issues that crosses party lines and is race neutral but instead you chose to compare support segregation in the 50s and 60s to the Tea Part Protesters. I know that you are not a ignorant man and that you are well aware of all these other issues that you could have made comparisons to. So I have have to wonder what your motives are for bringing up a dead 50 year old issue that you and I were not around when it happened when making a comparison to Tea Party protesters.

Too bad for you that 99 percent of the Tea Party will vote for which Republican they find most like-minded.

But keep avoiding the lead. How's your party doing? Can't accomplish a damn thing because the public hates everything the Dems are proposing.

Buyers remorse among voters has set in worse than I've seen in my lifetime.

We are keeping the Republicans out of government so they can't do more damage. That alone is an enormous accomplishment.

Yet wasn't a black man who was a tea party member beaten by union thugs?

Your pemise is a lie. YOu are equating racism to teaparty movement where none is.

Not really, given your penchant at the absurd, it would at least for me, be a waste of time.
c'mon, rev. that guy was NOT "beaten" by union thugs. did you see the video? lol.....

So where is your outrage for joe1991? Selective much?

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize I had to scan every single post in every single thread to make sure I express the outrage to prove my credentials to you.

I said I don't paint others as racist unfairly. And I don't. That has nothing to do with any other posters. Please stay on topic.

You're welcome to point out the post by joe1991 you think I should condemn and ask me what I think of it if you want.

Hatuey didn't do that, I posted a graphic comparing the two. While perfectly and historically valid imo, it sidetracked an otherwise interesting debate.

For that, I apologize.

He has big pictures. claiming you missed is simply not believable.

Now you know about it. LEts see your outrage and joe linking patriotic americans with racists.

I didn't read through this whole thread. So yes, I missed them.

And they are irrelevant to my statement anyway. I said I don't accuse others of being racist unfairly. joe1991 has nothing to do with that.

I have nothing to prove to you. His words are his, not mine. Just because I don't comment on something doesn't mean I approve of it. That's a basic logical fallacy.

I'm not going to scroll through the whole thread just to prove myself to you. If you want to post the message number, I'll look at it though.

You could scroll back a page.

Your selective outrage is noted for its partisanism.

Let me ask you. Do you approve of his tactics? YES or NO

So assault is not assault if is done by union thugs?
did you see they video? who put the union guy on the ground?

yes, there was a scuffle, but he was not "beaten".....and i think you know that.

see what you did there? stereotyped liberals stereotyping republicans.

Someone defending themself and others?

yes, there was a scuffle, but he was not "beaten".....and i think you know that.

Assault is not assault when union thugs do it?

It's all irrellevant. There has been the idiotic claim that white southerners make up the teaparty movement.... I proved that idiotic claim wrong.

....and not one that's particularly appreciated either.

71% Angry at Federal Government, Up Five Points Since September
Monday, November 30, 2009 Email to a Friend ShareThisAdvertisement
Seventy-one percent (71%) of voters nationwide say they’re at least somewhat angry about the current policies of the federal government. That figure includes 46% who are Very Angry.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 27% are not angry about the government's policies, including 10% who are Not at All Angry.

Men are angrier than women, and voters over 40 are more angry than those who are younger. A majority of those over 40 are Very Angry. Only 25% of under-30 voters share that view.

The data suggests that the level of anger is growing. The 71% who are angry at federal government policies today is up five percentage points since September.

Even more stunning, the 46% who are Very Angry is up 10 percentage points from September.
Among the nation’s Political Class, just six percent (6%) are angry. However, among those with more Mainstream, or populist, views, 85% are angry. A majority of Americans today hold views that can be described as Mainstream or populist. Very few align with the Political Class (see more information on this divide).....
