    I guess its an assumption that these folks tend to stand on the right, traditionally.

    And the second point, how is that an assumption why would their having changed places make any difference when its the opposing political forces they represent that have not changed?

    First point: Republicans are not against health care reform. They are against the democrats proposed health care reform. Republicans have offered up their own plans, but they were laughed off as being too small.

    Second point: Is it really any surprise that Reid would say this? This is not the first time that such things have been brought into the picture by Democrats.
