No she wants it to be a theocracy
Wow, you have absolutely no idea what a theocracy is, do you?

A theocracy is a form of government, "rededicating to god" is a cultural term for cultural issues. IF palin and huckabee are theocrats, then we have had theocrats in the whitehouse since John F Kennedy.

It clearly is a statement encouraging individuals to plan advanced directives for themselves in the event that they cannot speak for themselves.
So how's that any different than Obama's legislation?

Yeah, but at least they weren't completely stupid theocrats who pardon rapists.

First of all, there hasn't been any "legislation" on Obama's part. That would not be under Obama's powers as part of the "executive" branch.

That being said, under the context of a healthcare package that would implement universal healthcare with a stated intent to save healthcare costs, there are a whole plethora of ethical problems with providers in that system to provide this kind of direction. The Alaskan awareness day, which wasn't even legislation but a proclamation encouraging better access to information on behalf of the individual to already existing legislation, in no way encourages government involvement in advanced directives.

Therein lies the HUGE difference between the two.

For all those who like to toss around the word theocracy, ecclesiocracy is the word you are looking for.

Theocracy = Theo Kratos - God rule
Ecclesiocracy = Ecclesia Kratos - Church rule

America has been a theocracy since the drafting of the DOI & likely long before that.

Imagine, asking people to make decidsions about their own medical situations, including end of life scenarios, rather than waiting for some as yet undetermined bureacrat to do so.

There is NO difference. The exact same thing she called health awareness whilst promoting it as governor, she named death panels in the health care legislation.

NO difference. Just Palin being Palin.

Imagine .... then imagine Palin calling it death panels.

You gotta step into a different world to understand Palin-speak.
