Italian court convicts Amanda Knox of murder

Americans can certainly do bad things regardless of location. But from what I had read, their DNA evidence was shoddy and coincidental at best. It's not something I think you should properly be able to get a conviction out of if true.

I'm still in the process of reading through a bunch of articles I printed on this case. To me, I see so many similarities between Scott Petersen's behavior after his wife went missing and after she was found dead and Amanda Knox's behavior after this murder. She claims that her making out with her 2-week boyfriend as they examined the crime scene was as a result of her being in shock. Bullcrap! That doesn't speak well of her innocence, IMHO.

So, you think she's guilty because she was displaying behavior that was similar to Scott Peterson's? Or because she was kissing (they were not making out) her boyfriend as the police examined the crime scene?

I dunno. I remember seeing the footage of their kissing outside and when I learned the facts surrounding these smooches, I thought it was WEIRD. My first thought was, "Ewwwwwwwww." It just seems abnormal to me, but I'm innocent of charges like that, so what do I know?

That doesn't make her a raping murderer. It just makes her a strange person.

Thank you. I was reading the articles today thinking, "Hmmmmmm. This seems completely nuts." But this little voice in the back of my mind hears Scott Petersen's family and friends saying, "He would NEVER do something like this! He's innocent!" Boy were they wrong.

So her DNA was on a knife found at the boyfriend's place. They had been dating 2 weeks when the murder occurred. I don't know about you, but my DNA was not on any kitchen utensil (like a sharp knife) in my now husband's apartment until well into our relationship.
