In a world where people can get married by going through a drive thru, where the divorce rate is extremely high, where there are reality shows based around the concept for our entertainment, I don't know exactly where you get the idea that there is any sanctity left.

Again you show you total ignorance for the history of the issue in California. The California Supreme court is conservative leaning. It was the 'activist' judges that upheld prop 8 as a legal ballot measure. I guess if you were better informed on the overall issue, you would know that.

I would suggest that, in the future, you do more research and reading on the subject before posting and embarrassing yourself by making statements that only reveal a profound lack of knowledge and understanding.

You may also be aware that the California matter is going before a U.S. Circuit Court this Jan. (I think) on constitutional issues. Prop 8 does violate the U.S. constitution and will be struck down at the federal level.

The only ones living in Fantasyland are the bigots and homophobes. IMHO.:2wave:

Those that think gay marriage isn't moving towards approval are the ones living in a fantasy land. 30 years ago gay marriage wasn't even able to get on statewide ballots.

1. By the time Gay lifestyle is accepted as a suitable alternate life style God will destroy the world just like he did Sodom............

2. At one time it was a gay mans disease in this country but since bi sexuals have crossed over and given it to women not as much any more........

You are assuming there is sanctity left. I have already proven that the idea of "sanctity", as far as marriage in this country is concerned, is a joke. Allowing gay marriage or even polygamists isn't going to somehow tarnish marriage like it was somehow untarnished before.

Maine hard likely the largest margin in blue states at 6%.

Can you provide evidence that 1) God exists 2) Only your God exists and 3) God cares? Considering what America has done in its past, if God really wanted to destroy us, it would have done so long ago.

Yeah but those margins were in 2 of the most liberal states in this country...........How about checking out a state like Mississippi where the voters margin for a constitutional amendment was close to 80%

And I don't detest marriage. I just don't think it's this sacred thing that you do. My views on the "sanctity" of marriage are based on the joke that it's become to our society. I don't know exactly where you get this high standard of marriage from, but it certainly isn't from American culture.
