It like people who have concerns over nuclear power plants. Just because something like Chernobyl has not happened in the US(as I far as I know) does not mean people are not going to be less worried about it or simply dismiss it as the failure or a failing communist power.
Wow you're actually being serious. Perhaps we shouldn't mock truthers then, either.

I would like to hear one intelligent response as to the dangers the Hadron Collider poses. So far I haven't heard one probable or feasible scenario.

Oh, and a black hole being formed and eating its way to the center of the Earth before consuming the entire planet isn't reasonable. It has all been debunked.

How is claiming the government murdered 3000 plus Americans so it can basically do what ever the hell it wants(although I would think if government can murder 3000 American citizens then it can already do what ever the hell it wants) somehow comparable to a device that a lot of people do not really know anything about? Practically everybody in the country saw planes fly into two buildings and those two buildings fall so it not anywhere near comparable to the issua a lot of people have with the Large Hadron Collider. If it can not create a black hole the answer is simply no it can not create a black hole and then explain how such a rumor started or where people got the idea that it can.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

I do not think it is the fear that it would eat its way to the center of the earth. I think the fear that a black hole could be formed and suck in everything around it.

If a lot of people "do not really know anything about" it and they act like they do (i.e. claiming that it will destroy the universe) then they are idiots. People that don't know anything about something and then make statements about it deserve to be mocked. Much like how truthers know nothing about physics/engineering/demolition/explosives and then make grandiose claims.

Are you saying you know alot about the Large Hadron Collider? Most people who heard of this thing heard about it on the History channel or some PBS NOVA special or maybe read a online article about it.

The same could be said about those who say there is nothing to worry about but do not really know anything about the Large Hadron Collider.

I think most people who think the Large Hardon Collider can create black holes can simply be swayed with the explanation that it doesn't. Most of the truffers are just Bush bashing idiots or some other idiots motivated by political beliefs they are like the Bush lied for the Iraq war, Obama is a Muslim, Bush went AWOL, Obama is not a natural born citizen.

Most people who know that the towers collapsed due to planes flying into them are not physicist, demolition experts, have a degree in engineering or some other specialty.

You don't need to know a lot to know that it's not going to destroy the universe.

The same could be said about those who say there is nothing to worry about but do not really know anything about the Large Hadron Collider.
Not really. Claiming that something is going to destroy the universe is a lot crazier than claiming that something isn't.

I think most people who think the Large Hardon Collider can create black holes can simply be swayed with the explanation that it doesn't.
Well have fun, then; I'll keep mocking them, thank you very much.

When you hear from somewhere that a device can create black hole then what is the reasonable to think when you hear something like that? "Oooh I can't wait to see one of those things, I hope they can have it on displayed somewhere or a maybe a PBS or history channel special, I always wanted to see something like that"

I do not think anyone said Universe just maybe the planet because black holes exist all over the universe.
