What were you pulled over for? I've gotten tickets and never ever had a breathalyzer test. I totalled my car in Canada (my fault, another car involved) and they didn't test me. I had a couple of fender benders over the years, no breathalyzer test.

usually bs stuff. certianly not CARELESS DRIVING. then you definitely should be tested by default. hence CARELESSNESS.

What kind of car do you drive and how old do you appear? Do you appear clean cut?

2 in the morning is when the bars close so they might have been doing some random stops with bs excuses, to prevent drunk driving accidents.

yeah my point is at 2:30am if you smash your car and get charged with careless driving they're going to check you NO MATTER WHAT. this isn't rocket science it's simple.

In retrospect, I'm surprised they never checked me, esp that Canada wreck. I did an illegal u-turn on a hwy from the shoulder of the road and was sideswiped by a forest firefighting supply truck. I had been blinded by the sun shining through the smoky haze. My car was a total loss. Fortunately the kids weren't hurt. Subarus are well built.

being with your kids probably makes it less likely for them to check plus if you were ok they could asses if you were drunk easier. in woods case he could barely stay awake. if that isn't probably cause what is? does he need to have a open beer in the car with him?

that's what i disagree with. then the cops decided oh **** we're morons if we don't check his blood and the prosecutor denied them. i don't even believe that is protocol. smells fishy.

Driving skills may be part of the problem, but a deeper problem may be abuse of prescription drugs. There is no indication that Tiger has admitted he has a drug problem, or that he is seeking help/treatment for his over-enjoyment of perscription drugs, like Ambien and Vicodin.
