Why the hell should we care more if it happens to Tiger Woods?
Yeah, I agree, but my reaction sure changed when I read each installment.

First--Woods in serious condition after traffic accident? (hope he's ok)

Next-Woods released from hospital same day? (Good, nothing serious.)

Next-Woods was driving outside his home at 2am and hit a fire hydrant and a neighbor's tree. (that sounds a little suspicious)

Next-his wife broke out the windows with a golf club and saved him. (Gee, that's even more strange, was she also outside at 2am?)

Final-The Woods are unavailable for questioning today and want to wait until they meet with their attorney before talking to the police. (Ok, I think they need to get their stories straight.)

I'd like to know how smashing the rear window made it easier for her to drag him semi-conscious from the car....(I did get the information from Sky News.... Hmmmm... )

New vehicles the door locks when car was in gear. Breaking the back seat window allowed her to unlock the doors.

    This is the theory anyway

Tiger Woods: Injuries Caused by Wife, Not SUV | TMZ.com

We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.

Tiger WoodsWe're told Woods became "distracted," thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

We're also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene.
This makes sense to me. I found their subsequent secrecy a little strange (in a suspicious sort of way).

And most importantly, how bad are the injuries? I hope Tiger is okay, and that the facts play out in a good way for him.

Re: Tiger Woods seriously injured in a car accident

" ... After canceling a meeting with Florida Highway Patrol troopers Sunday, Woods has released a statement on his website about las week Friday’s car accident and the injuries he sustained.

Woods, 33, says, “the only person responsible for this accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.”
In the statement he also adds that: “This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.” ... "

See? Nothing wrong, it was all a big mistake. I must remember to cancel any meetings with the local police next time I crash my car.

Re: Tiger Woods seriously injured in a car accident

[QUOTE]Woods praised his wife, Elin Nordegren, for "courageously" pulling him out of the wrecked SUV. And apparently referring to reports in the National Enquirer two days before the crash that suggested he was having an affair, Woods said malicious rumors about him and his family were "irresponsible."

I cannot think of a bigger non-story. Let Oprah handle this one, it's her level mentality kind of stuff.
It was the Austrasians, that hewed on bravely through the thick of the fight, it was they who found and cut down the Saracen King.

Since he wrecked the Escalade, I wonder if Tiger will blame this on his Caddie.
