Terrorists aren't covered by the GC.

You mean the US media was on the side of the VC?

Surprise surprise surprise...it's not like the US Democrat-led Congress didn't hand Saigon to the North Vietnamese on a silver platter in 1974.

    Putting things in perspective.

All the damn jackasses that are crying their eyes out over a terrorist getting a fat lip need to watch this video.

You should drop out of college for a couple years and join the Marines.

That'll fix the errors in your world view and you'll grow a spine, too.

The haggardness of poverty is everywhere seen contrasted with the sleekness of wealth, the exhorted labor of some compensating for the idleness of others, wretched hovels by the side of stately colonnades, the rags of indigence blended with the ensigns of opulence; in a word, the most useless profusion in the midst of the most urgent wants.Jean-Baptiste Say

Not any more, it doesn't, not for years and decades.

The little "never done anything useful" pukes in the media now consider themselves the movers and shapers of American society, dedicated to casting judgements on all events they disapprove of and punishing those they consider malefactors.

Hence, the media demands the resignation of Trent Lott for harmless comments at a birthday party but applauds Robert KKK Byrd.

The media wants to avoid the use of the phrase "muslim terrorist" in regards to the Fort Hood terrorist, but won't hesitate to call for the head of anyone giving a terrorist a fat lip in jail.

The media in the West is so biased, so biased against the causes of freedom, that it's plain they're an enemy that has to be confronted, no different than the terrorists they support on the battle field.

I'm an American, have been all my life.

Since you're obviously not an American, from what basis are you whining about freedom?

    Medals would have been nice.

What's really significant is that the MEDIA, your buds, and you yourself, completely ignored the fact that the men responsible for the incident were let off without consequence and the soldiers following orders went to jail.

You people don't give a **** about what happened at Abu Graib, hell no. Worse things than anything that happened there are ROUTINE in your typical Iraqi prison. Your only interest lay in pushing a minor incident into some irressponsible embarassment for a president and country you hated and continue to hate.

That's the only reason you people have for making any issue about this terrorist's fat lip.

    He's a terrorist.

    Got it?

We'd have killed more terrorists more effectively.

When "the world" starts paying for it's own defense, "the world" can start having their opinions matter. Since we're covering "the world's" collectivized ass, "the world's" opinions matter no more than what the dung beetle pushes around.
