Golf News | Golfweek | Dwight D. Eisenhower: Golf at the White House

Oh how short the memory of partisans are.

I'd say Eisenhower did a good job in office. Despite the huge amount of golfing.

800 rounds? I'm guessing that averages out to more than once a week.

A bit under twice a week.

Eisenhower I believe (Correct me if I'm wrong) had two terms, for roughly 416 weeks in office.

I read the entire article and there was zero "breaking news" in it.

It's interesting to see that hardcore Liberals aren't all that different from hardcore Conservatives when it comes to pointing out non-issues like this. If you think it comes off as anything but opportunistic and partisan, you are kidding yourself.

who cares if grim is or isn't partisan, he's as entitled as anyone else

the news is the news, that's the point

and playing 18 rounds once a week just doesn't LOOK good

i mean, considering where we are

ask bush and his critics about the links

it's not politic to overlook appearances

    Obama golfed while America burned.

I'm not saying he isn't entitled. I just find it funny how similar hardcore liberals and hardcore conservatives are. If this were a thread about how much Bush golfed it would be pretty much the same except the roles would be flipped.

All pols are cold and disconnected, I would rather have Obama, here, and golfing, then flying around the world, apologizing for this country.
