Finally, working well, really? no one is suggesting that these people be expelled, just their conflicting government rule, that is all, one country, one government.
Also we need to define on what basis the entire Island of Ireland can be considered a "country". Finally we need to define how the protestant population would be dealt with in a united Ireland that they would fight not to be part of?
Working well? Yes, ive provided examples on several ocasions. Though to put it simply look at NI during the 80s and look at it now, seams like a no brainer for me.
