Multiculturalism is a liberal issue. It is about the individual's right to live among us without being a part of us, or in extreme form to deny that there is an "us" at all-- only a sea of individual "mes" with no affinity or obligation to one another.
"I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country." -Jefferson
So now the right is liberal. Okay. Shows you why all this talk of left and right and liberal and conservative is pointless, not to mention irrellevant. The Right wants more economic and religious freedom, and the Left wants more civil liberties and freedom from cultural standards, but they are all basically liberal with the exception of a handful of hardcases at the top.
All I can say is that is one sensitive little god them muslims worship.
