You posted that right after Councilman...so it appeared that you were commenting on his post.

I don't have to add to this, It all speaks for itself.

British judge finds nine errors in Al Gore's "alarmist and exaggerated" Inconvenient Truth movie

The British newspapers are full of stories this morning about a High Court judge's criticisms of Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth movie. See The Times, Daily Mail and Guardian.

Mr Justice Barton had been asked to rule on the film after the British Government had announced plans to have it distributed throughout the nation's schools.

Justice Barton found 'nine scientific errors' in the film and accused Mr Gore of "alarmism" and "exaggeration". Although he agreed that the film was "powerful, dramatically presented and highly professionally produced," he said that it was a political film and was so "one-sided" that it needed to be accompanied with other materials that provided pupils with balance if the Government was to continue with its plans to distribute it to schools.

Seems kind of sparse for a religious gathering. I know if it was some other famous religious preacher the numbers would be higher. There would beway more than 800-1000 people.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Failing that, entertaining is helpful.

    Gore is neither.

800/200 or 1000/100, either way, it is great that evidence-challenged shriekers are in such a minority.
    They're actually a plurality.

    Energy Update - Rasmussen Reports

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 47% of voters blame global warming on planetary trends, while 37% of voters take the opposite view and blame human activity. Just 5% point to some other reason.
    Who's "evidence-challenged" now?

EDIT: And if you take into account the 5% who say "other reason", they're a majority.

Sure they do. They are protesting a man who is lying out his @$$ and making hundreds of millions of dollars off of scaring granny.

Not that tired old saw again. So an oil company spent a few million on an opposing study. This offsets $79,000,000,000 spent by our government on pro global warming studies how? The oil companies spending on AGW studies is mice nuts compared to all the grant money given out to prove AGW. And we all know that with grants, the desired outcome is almost always achieved. Otherwise the grant money stops.

So to all the AGW believers, "Congrats morons!". Or should I have said lemmings?
