When your credit/ bank account runs dry, then they start taking your non-vital organs and selling them.

When you run out of non-vital organs they barbeque you to feed the rest of the occupants. These camps are going to be as cost effective as possible; it's also going to reflect modernity the best-- the wealthy are going to eat the poor.

I agree it's hard to believe. I think Obama is taking what he believes to be a calculated risk. If Obama has Holder attack Yoo and the other neocon legal advisors, CIA and military/contractor interrogators directly he risks a political counterattack by the Right.

By giving KSM and his gang a world stage as a circus Obama knows that the Bush Administration, et al., will be savagely pilloried. Yet Obama will be able to claim "clean hands." In other words Obama is having someone else do his dirty work while he preserves plausible deniability. By preserving deniability Obama doesn't give the Right a political target on this issue. Finally, imo Obama may very well believe that the pace of prosecution will be such that any possible acquittal will occur after the 2012 election. After that he probably doesn't care.

If I am correct does this make Obama evil? Imo, no. It means he is a hard hearted, cold and calculating politician. He's merely one in a long line of tragic disappointments for our long suffering people.

Ok I'll simmer down. However, since you've made it your business to engage me let's have a comprehensive debate. What say you? The subject of this thread is the NY trial for the alleged 9/11 mastermind. What do you think about the decision to bring KSM and the other members of the Gitmo Five to the US District Court (SDNY) for trial? I'm interested in your conclusion on this subject and the reasons underlying your conclusion. Please state them. Thanks.
