In what could prove to be one of the biggest counterterrorism seizures in U.S. history, prosecutors filed a civil complaint in federal court against the Alavi Foundation, seeking the forfeiture of more than $500 million in assets.

The assets include bank accounts; Islamic centers consisting of schools and mosques in New York City, Maryland, California and Houston; more than 100 acres in Virginia; and a 36-story glass office tower in New York.

Confiscating the properties would be a sharp blow against Iran, which has been accused by the U.S. government of bankrolling terrorism and trying to build a nuclear bomb.

I wonder if they are also paying attention to the people who attend those mosques and schools.
 
If they werent before I bet they are now after Fort Hood.
 
This is a shock in as much as Obama allowed it to happen. He's shown going on zero back bone when it comes to dealing with anything having to do with the Middle East so far.
 
According to the article, this organization has been under suspicion for 3 Presidential administrations...
 
I have been following this for over a year. Its about time they moved to seize.
 
Well, you know what will happen --- the NAACP will come to the rescue and file lawsuits against the Fed for discrimination against Muslims.
