Military to Seek Death Penalty in Fort Hood Shooting

No trial is necessary. Don't waste tax payer money on him, take him out back and throw him off a cliff.
 
I hope they shove a living snake up his arse before they inject him.
 
I think he should get a fair trial. Then he should be executed by a firing squad. A firing squad made up of the soldiers that he wounded.

They'll never get the death penalty. Obama, as CIC, has to sign off on any military execution and we all know that he ain't gonna do that.

today, fox news reveals investigators have found hasan's business cards that self-desribe him as SoA (soldier of allah) and include the arabic acronym GWT (translated as, glory to god)

the biz cards do not mention any affiliation with the US army

msm, meanwhile, have tried to dismiss the obvious, ugly realities of this bloody event as the product of "secondary ptsd," which charles krauthammer, former practicing psychiatrist, says does not exist in psych manuals

janet napolitano, secty of homeland security, insists her number one goal is bringing this butcher to justice

she needs to concentrate instead on how hasan, whom everyone knew all about, instead of being drummed out was promoted and transferred to texas

of course, general casey has already answered---diversity cannot be sacrificed, pronounces the prime proponent of pc

the fbi ruled out terrorist ties and motives BEFORE they even knew hasan wasn't dead, as all were falsely reporting in the hours after the slaughter

this story just gets worse and worse everyday

and it's not going away

it's not about a muslim or his personal hates, it's not about castigating an entire community for the crazed actions of a single coward

no, this story is about the failure of our pc pentagon to address the obvious lunatic tendencies of one of its officers for fear of appearing discriminatory against a chosen group

once more, were hasan a skinhead, a nazi, a woman hater, things would have gone down entirely differently

So? You know how many people get convicted of PRE meditated murder in this country and don't get the death penalty?

You do realize that the United States military hasn't executed a service member since 1961, right?

Maybe I'm as stupid as Hatuey claims, but I just can't see the most Liberal prez in history signing the executionn order to kill a paraplegic.

In 1988, Ronald Grey was convicted of raping and murdering three female soldiers. He got the death penalty and still hasn't been executed.

PBO ain't gonna sign the order. Learn to live with it.

He's an American citizen and therefore he gets a trial. That's how justice works in the free world. If you don't like it, move to another part of the world where the mob can determine your guilt and you'll be given no voice.

I'm usually against the death penalty in general but I support it for this guy for a few reasons, 1) I'm pretty sure the military judicial system has less appeals for capital cases, 2) we don't need a lengthy appeal process for Nidal as the evidence against him is simply overwhelming, 3) this isn't just a murder case it is an act of treason, and 4) I usually think that solitary confinement for the rest of ones life is a harsher punishment than a quick painless death, but I think that the military still implements hanging.

Actually, our judicial system is one of the things that makes us better than them. Give him a fair military trial, THEN execute him. :mrgreen:

Execution by pulling one pubic hair at a time then letting ingrown hairs grow and or infections set in.
