I remember reading a couple of articles (2-3 months ago) that Dobbs had discussed the "birth certificate" issue with some callers on his radio show. He never said he bought into the conspiracy, but he did voice concern that it would be an issue easily resolved, and that he didn't understand why Obama or his staff put the issue to rest with incontrovertible evidence.
I'm sure that didn't go over too big at CNN, and he was probably labeled a conspiracy nut after that, so I wonder if that had anything concrete to do with it?

I apologize for breaking this breaking news, with out the required link, but I wanted to discuss it, and there was no link available, I am sorry.
CBS has the distinction of trying to sway a presidential election in its dying days with forged documents.
CNN has the distinction of being a propagandist for Saddam Hussein.

And then there is this beauty from Howard Fineman during a moment of weakness. WHOOPS!
Sober yet?Fineman: 'Mainstream Media Party' is over - Howard Fineman- msnbc.com
A political party is dying before our eyes — and I don't mean the Democrats. I'm talking about the "mainstream media,"...
Still, the notion of a neutral, non-partisan mainstream press was, to me at least, worth holding onto. Now it's pretty much dead, at least as the public sees things. The seeds of its demise were sown with the best of intentions in the late 1960s, when the AMMP was founded in good measure (and ironically enough) by CBS.
The problem was that, once the AMMP declared its existence by taking sides, there was no going back. A party was born.
It was not accident that the birth coincided with an identity crisis in the Democratic Party. The ideological energy of the New Deal had faded; Vietnam and various social revolutions of the ’60s were tearing it apart. Into the vacuum came the AMMP, which became the new forum for choosing Democratic candidates.
FOXNEWS has reinserted balance, and to leftists used to having PRAVDA-ABC, PRAVDA-CBS, PRAVDA-NBC, PRAVDA-CNN, PRAVDA-MSNBC... actually hearing from the opposition is shocking something they just are not used to.
FOX is really an old styled news network... with opinion shows added... not a blind propaganda mill like the AMMP, as Howie Fineman eloquently noted.

I AM DEPLORABLE.
NEVER CRIMINAL HILLARY (S-NY)
I just wish Fox would have come out and said they were leaning right, and be the first honest network on television today. We all know the others lean left, but this fair and balanced stuff, it just doesn't hold up to scrutiny. This is not to say they lie, or they are dishonest, but they do cater to the right, and that is something that was missing in our society, and it took some business man from another country to cash in.
This is something we should all be ashamed of, we are pretty dumb here, we allow ourselves to be lead around like sheep.
