There should be a law or something that you cannot turn down help like this. I mean really all it does is hurt the people that need it most.

If it was a no strings and you pull up, unload your food and go on about your way? If it will help feed the homeless? That is a good thing.. But would worry maybe it was tainted food

Of course I had great difficulty trying to find a new location due to landlords not wanting to rent to a food bank, but I struck up an interesting conversation with one who owned several properties here in Redding. He said in the last 3 months the only calls of interest were calls from 53 marijuana co ops from San Francisco on up wishing to rent his properties. I truly believe organized crime is behind much of this, as a very interesting character came to our ministry pretending to be interested in volunteering after this article came out in the local paper.

An absolute ridiculous amount of pot in our area, with reports of it falling out of childrens pockets, as well as kids getting on school busses smelling like marijuana gardens makes it a travesty, with no regulations from the Redding City Council making their continued unabated proliferation a pestilence.

A sad message to send to our children and future generations, and morally unacceptable.

So called "gangsta" are not welcome to donate? I am trying to understand here. I would think any and all food, clothes and money would be welcome no matter who it comes from

I especially liked how the chunky bitch, with two fat little piggies and one on the way is gonna sit there and judge someone else's raising of a child.

    American Nazi Party?

Alright, if you want to consider them a legitimate organization for this example, I will.

American Nazi Party donating food vs Pot distributors.

First of all, I'd be wary as **** of whatever the Nazis are giving me.
Secondly, Are pot distributors as bad as modern day bigoted fascist-wannabees?

A lawless law in response to other lawless laws, then. By what compelling interest does the government justify making laws to state that legal adults must seek the permission, at great expense, of a private practitioner in order to purchase whatever medicines for whatever purpose they desire?

I cannot abide the use of cannabis in my presence-- save when I am a guest in another's house-- but if I should desire amoxycilin to treat a sinus infection, cocaine to treat lethargy, or even grain alcohol and diazepam to treat my continued existence, it is a business matter between myself and the chemist. The State's only legitimate concern is that the chemist's goods are pure and properly labeled, that the chemist himself is qualified, and that he is permitting sale only to legal adults.

There was once a time when the cultivation of beneficial cash crops was considered an honorable profession, and the aspiration toward an honorable profession was something to be praised in a child. Ah, for the good old days.

So take away their children and housepets. Throw them in prison. Beat them with sticks. Put a bullet in them for all I care-- they're trash and a civilized society has no further use for them. The actions of trash, however, do not provide justification for policies that harm lawful society.

I have known men of deep Christian faith, true believers, who have seen no contradiction between their usage of cannabis and their service to Christ. I've certainly known smokers of cannabis whose general conduct has been more righteous and lawful than my own.

You mention "touch not what is unclean", but I don't see grounds for a Biblical argument that cannabis is unclean-- I refer to it as "filthy" myself, but that's because I hate the smell of it. I've certainly heard similar comments directed toward my cigars.
