Re: Tea partiers descend on Capitol Hill

Is it just a coiencdence that violent acts coincide with these rallies?

    9/12 = Teabag rally...Cencus worker hanged.

    11/5 = Teabag rally....Mass murder of troops.

I hope this trend doesn't continue.

Perhaps Miss Bachman should consider holding back on the "Armed and Dangerous" or the "Look into the whites of their eyes" rehetoric.

    Yes.

    ............
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Seeing those signs is disturbing. I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that they think the rest of the country takes them seriously, or the fact that their signs are all talking points from Fox news. Have the news conglomerates risen to religious proportions or something?
And who does have such proclaimed "coherency"
    The Democrats?

    Hardly

They attacked McCain on everything from his age to his claimed political party - without giving a single notice to his actual views, values and accomplishments - many of which were quite Democratic.

When Bush was in a fickle pickle overseas they claimed it to be a quagmire, yet when their Obama is in the same fickle pickle in another country they claim he's being "cautious."

They've dominated D.C. for half a century boasting about their favor of civil rights and equality yet when people oppose some of their works (such as continually building national debt) they demand that the opposition be silenced (such as with the passing of the Sedition Act by Woodrow Wilson and the Fairness Doctrine).

Lo and behold, I continue with this "Democratic Cohesion Fallacy"

They've started countless failed and bankrupt programs - everything from CHIP, Social Security on down to Fannie Freddie, none of which are sufficient, all of which are riddle with holes and badly need repair like our failling infrastructure (which they also lobbied for obtusely in the past to get the grant money for, yet failed to continue to maintain it with the same enthusiam).

Amid massive foreclosures (related to Fannie and Freddie and their beloved 'equal rights for housing' beliefs) and amid spiking costs of everything from milk to wheat, amid horrific job-losses and a trainwreck of society they turn to focus on healthcare and RAISING taxes.

Part of their healthcare plan, by the way, details RAISING taxes ON people's health insurance to PAY for research ON health insurance. So cohesive, sure!

The very thing they stand on, equality and civil rights, is the very thing they were against when the Democratic Party first was formed.
Yep, the Democratic Party was against the emancipation of the slaves. The Republican Party fought for it.

Everyone harps up Bush's leg for "starting a war that wasn't ok'd by Congress" - yet over 125 instances of battle or war have been committed by decision of the president, only 13 of which have been Congressionally declared as "war."
Who's the most recent Democrat-president violator of this "unacceptable act of undeclared war?" - President Clinton . . . but we can't consider that, now can we?

And though they've held the majority in Congress more than Republicans - they're always claiming to "go to Washington and clean this mess up" . . eventhough they're the ones voting in all the policies that become "this mess " to begin with.

I can go on, the list is very long.

So, obviously, my point is that "cohesion" hardly has anything to do with whether someone's right or wrong, politicially correct or corrupt.

So, some tea party folks think Obama wasn't born in the U.S. and others believe that Michell Bachmann has testicles--apparently more than two.

I think some of the signs at this latest shameful example of fear and ignorance fueled by hyper-partisan talking points tell the story:

Yes, it's actually a picture of holocaust bodies. These people have no shame and no brains.

    Well, bully for you.

Lemme guess, Beck has been harping on Mao lately... Am I right?

And then they wheel out God to hammer the message home. Testify!!

A dozen people were arrested outside of Nancy Pelosiís office.

    Bachmann Crazy Overdrive.
Is it impossible for you to start a thread that isn't a partisan diatribe? Your side is just as ****ing stupid, you know...

4 signs you object to out of 20,000+ people... I can find as many signs at a 10 person liberal protest... But hey. I realize you have to bitch at something, because how else is the left going to deal with so many people showing up with little notice to protest the Messiah and his disciples.

Yes... and my dog farted when Obama was giving his inaugural speech... Should I also show astounding ignorance and link those events like you did those above?

Fox is in the early stages of creating a new political party to overtake the republicans.

Re: Tea partiers descend on Capitol Hill

Congratulations. You managed to find pictures of some nutjobs out of a group of 10,000.

I'm proud of you. Really I am. Great job. I'm sure that was an extremely difficult attempt

I know at all the various protests over the past 8 years where thousands of liberals showed up we never were able to find signs of crazy nutjobs.

    Oh wait, yes we were.

Yet I'm sure if I tried to suggest that those nutjobs were the majority of those at those protests you'd have a fit. Yet you sit here and attempt to imply that here. Its pathetic.

Just because there are some nutjobs in the crowd does not devalidate the message of the whole, nor the thousands upon thousands of non-nutjob people in there that just simply disagree strongly with YOUR position. Which is really the problem...because you point out the crazies because that's the easy one, but what it really comes down to is the belief that anyone that disagrees with you and is on the other side is really, in the end, no different than those crazies.

    For the love of christ.

Seriously Goldendog, its pathetic and disgusting that you are in the other thread degrading and talking down people for speculating on what happened there after the disgusting disgraceful, and absolutely baseless, constant speculation and idiotic assertions you made in the census worker thread that you're not continuing now. Hypocritical of the highest degree and pathetic.
