Bill Clinton, George W. Bush to debate in NYC -

Well, there is not likely to be any head butting, but the two former presidents have agreed to debate foreign policy, economics and other issues of the day on the same platform on Feb. 25, 2010, according to MSG Entertainment, which bills the event as "The Hottest Ticket in Political History."

The debate, which will include a question-and-answer segment with an as-yet unnamed moderator, is part of MSG's speaker's series known called "Minds That Move the World."

Melissa Ormond, MSG's chief operating officer, says the event will be "an informative and empowering experience" that will also " encourage people to engage in continued dialog surrounding the most significant current events of our day," The New York Daily News reports.

While the two former presidents have shared a stage before, in Toronto in May, the Radio City Music Hall will be their highest profile venue.

Tickets will range from $60 to $1,250, with the upper-end including a cocktail reception before the event.

Why not mention the Iraq War that Bills wife voted for and where Clinton kept probably illegal no fly zones enforced for the balance of his Presidency?
It was the Austrasians, that hewed on bravely through the thick of the fight, it was they who found and cut down the Saracen King.

I like both men more after they left office. They have a wisdom and experience that only few have. W. may become the next Carter--much more effective a leader out of office.

So you would criticize him for something his wife did? Does that mean Clinton and criticize Bush's brother? And probably? Weak post.

Whoa whoa whoa. Family's off-limits man. Or at least that's what the Republicans say.

I heard it was cancelled. It wasn't supposed to be a 'debate', but rather a 'conversation', or something like that. After the promoter started billing it as a 'debate', it got cancelled.

As if any modern day politicians would participate in a ACTUAL debate.

Okay, I still don't think they should bother with "what your wife did" in a debate like this, but are you seriously trying to tell me you're comparing a wife that happens to be a former senator, former presidential candidate, and current secretary of state with an, at the time, 17 year old girl?

Are you being serious? Or are you just doing a really ****ty job of being sarcastic by trying to compare two situations that are only similar if you're not using any logic in evaluating them?

That's too bad, although it would have been an unusual precedent if two living ex-presidents actually argued each other's accomplishments. My money would be on the Big Dog.

    Clinton backed out.
