The 52-year-old Forte pleaded guilty to second-degree forgery, a felony, admitting to conduct that occurred between June 16 and July 2. The chairman of Cornwall's Conservative Party was gathering signatures on behalf of a candidate for county Legislature who was seeking the Conservative Party's ballot line in the 12th Legislative District, which includes the towns of Cornwall and Woodbury.

It's ALMOST funny!

Somebody better ACORN over there and get this straightened out immediately!
 
As bad as this is it is one guy and is very unlike the systemic corruption of ACORN and the whole lefty machine that continues to use fraud in voter registration today after being exposed as a totally corrupt organization on evey level.

I don't see this one example of illegality casts a bad light on all conservatives on the whole, and the actions of candidate, Patrick Hines, denouncing Forte's conduct and rejecting the ballot line because of it shows that values still matter.

I wonder how long before the MSM does an in depth investigation into the "Conservative Party" voter fraud scandal and try to use that to take down Hoffman, calling his win fraudulent.
