Afghan is going to fall into chaos either way. The only way Afghan won't fall into chaos is if the US takes the country over entirely as a police state. The minute we leave, it will fall back into chaos.

How chaotic are the nearly uninhabited mountainous regions where Al-Q is supposedly hiding going to get?

With Obama's fiddling, I agree.

All the time. I frequent Desolation wilderness every year and the Tahoe Rim trail a few times.

How would the mountains be affected by political chaos? Do over whelming amounts of people run to mountainous regions in times of chaos or anarchy?

it's important for a president to LOOK, at least, like he knows what he's doing

I will tell you again counselor, I am concerned with troops sitting around while the president "votes present" on deciding whether to withdraw, or fight the fight.
