Separatist sentiments arise in many regions of the world now. And in difficult conditions of current financial crisis with possible perspective of dollar’s collapse they have also reached borders of world citadel of democracy. I mean our US superpower, of course! And if Washington doesn’t change its untalented internal policy, resulted in 25 million of unemployed persons, then the threat of separatism will become real in this multinational country.
You see, there is no secret that the ethnic composition of US population is rapidly changing now. We can remark US white population decrease with stable tendency of Hispanic and Asian Diasporas’ growth here. According to data of our sociologists these minorities amount to over 35% of our population now. At this rate soon not-white Americans will account for half of the total population. In fact, they will cease to be minorities in our country! Surely, in this case they will start dictating own terms to the indigenous population of America, which will inevitably result in growing conflicts. And it untimely leads to the increase in separatist sentiments throughout the country.
We have already become witnesses of disintegrative processes in this country, when this February 7 states adopted the declaration of own sovereignty (so far within the borders of the USA). Now the same issue is considered in other 12 states. And our authorities must do all possible now in order to stop development of this dangerous trend for our territorial integrity. They should always remember the one thing: we have the great country, and its citizens should have no reasons to dissolve our Union!
