Fox News Ratings Soar After Snub From Obama

HAHA - I'm so 'against the tide' on this.

With all the station-bashing I decided to watch the opponents of Fox in order to see what's different between all of them.

See - I'm a single rating point which does not imply support, agreement or approval.

Who needs charts? This is exactly what everyone, including many of Obama's compatriots, warned him would occur.

Which is exactly why he should have kept his mouth shut from the start and told his staff to keep their mouths shut on the issue as well. I can't believe there were some so naive as to champion Obama going after Fox News. This was an obvious outcome. The other obvious outcome is that here is another situation in which the Obama administration has put their foot in their mouth. I swear, Obama spends more time with his foot in his mouth than he does on the golf course. What a fool.

I can't believe people defend Fox News.

Freedom of press, nothing you can do about it. Other than make yourself a fool by trying to attack it.

Health care is on the verge of passing public option and all...just today many Republicans have started voicing their discontent towards the likes of FoxNew's Glenn Beck and his creator Rush Limbaugh. Republicans are now complaining that these people are painting them into a corner and putting there chances at 2010 and 2012 in jeapordy.
The President made a wise choice. Not only in his temperment but in his timing of calling them out.
With nobody else to attack they will have no choice by to attack each other and blame each other for Health Care passing. Because in their eyes it will be a failure because they didn't win on the issue. Because blaming is their nature.

The more viewers that watch it the better.

Which republicans would this be?

Which republicans would this be?

If the tick-tock clock of politics keep on track we're in the up and up for the next election, actually.

So, yeah, I'm with you - which republicans feel this way? Not many.

mrs palin pummeled him on "death panels"

beck beat his butt over van jones

joe who's-it wailed "liar" and within a week the white house worked harder anti-illegal headlines into baucus

ms dunn denigrated fox and within a fortnight---another utter defeat

this white house simply has no idea what it's doing

america is not chicago

Indeed, and hat tip to Sir Loin, rarely do we see such a succinct, to the point refutation of Liberal tactic as was demonstrated in two postings.

the thing is this President and the minions of communist klingons that circle around him have a master plan. In order to not wake up one day and wonder what happened to America we need to continue to expose, and be vigilant to what he is doing at all times, and on all fronts. He is a pathological liar, and relies on the slightest bit of apathy to sprint forward.

"We are the knights who say neep"

That tactic doesn't work ... they wuv the pwesident.

Nah I really don't love or hate any President. That is for the looney birds.

Fox was his biggest detractor on health care. Now all they're talking about is his war on Fox.

Three words: hook, line, and sinker.

Saying that this was all Obama's plan is exactly like those Bush defenders who said that al Qaeda flocking to Iraq so we could fight them there was Bush's plan all along.

The level of Kool-Aid needed to come to either conclusion is staggering. :doh

Who is "many" republicans? Can you name one? I know I can name many democrats who say this tack of the Obama admin is a mistake. So tell us, WHO are these republicans you speak of that "came out" just today? Me thinks I smell a facetious claim.

I know you're not holding your breath right? ;)

The whole: "Obama did this on purpose as a distraction tactic, hook line sinker" nonsense is amusing. I'm sure the Nero faithful did much the same thing while the fiddling and burning consumed the capital.

1. cnn has fallen to last place, behind even HLN, headline news

poor anderson cooper, son of the poor little rich girl, gloria vanderbilt

CNN Drops to Last Place Among Cable News Networks - Media Decoder Blog - NYTimes.com

2. pelosi monday suddenly decided the public option needs a NEW NAME---LOL!

is this because the PO is so successful, because it's winning, because optimisticly pink appear its possibilities of passage?

Pelosi: Health care 'public option' needs new name

just last week the tremulous madam commissioned her melancholy measure, medicare part E---for EVERYone!

olbermann went out-of-his-head, kept pointing to a segment some weeks ago where HE claims he coined the cognomen

this prettier appellation was all that was needed to put the plan over the top, opined the pumped up pundit

the label lasted 24 hours

3. gallup finds 40% of americans call themselves conservative, 36% moderate, with only 20% using that ugly L-word all political candidates run away from, preferring instead the less disreputable (to them) epithet, progressive

Conservatives Maintain Edge as Top Ideological Group

it's all in the naming---LOL!

I used to enjoy watching CNN - but after anderson cooper did headline coverage on m. jackson for 2 weeks I quit watching. I really thought he was a journalist but clearly he is having his strings pulled, as well as Campbell. They start their show with these silly headlines and then show clips of how the other networks covered their silly headline stories. And Campbell sets there with this silly grin on her face.

What idiot has taking over the programming for Campbell and Anderson?

If hard issues are ever discussed by either one of them it is very rare and brief.

Hardball is the best show out there right now.

Utter BS, but nice try.

Public option ain't getting through. Sorry.

Oh, I think it will get thru, we'll see.

Yeah, they plucked it out only as a fluff-tactic to try to get it to progress through the house and then they put it back into the bill.

Smoke and mirrors.

And, yeah, I feel it will pass with a public option because that was the driving force behind the bill.
And it will suck.

You did not duly note anything. Drooling = maddow and keitho. Hardball has opposing viewpoints like Fox, and Matthews, though he is a tool, can ask tough questions.

Anderson Cooper is a joke now. Reason, the word he proudly instigated - teabaggers. He never should have said it. He never should have done it. A bad idea that is haunting him for obvious professional and personal reasons. That’s when he came out of the closet and stopped pretending to be something he’s not: a real journalist.
