yeah, she bashes the military with outright lies, ignoring the atrocities of the savages....

You and GD thank her for this? Telling, very telling.

Can you link to one story you have published telling the stories of "heros", you sound just like that flat rachael corey...

    Michael Steele?

Plus much of the press has provided many, many good press releases about things we did over there. I had embedded press more than once and the stories that were published were always positive in nature and really good PR for the Army and my unit.

I just remember them trying to "Catch" stories that never happened....

I didn't see much of that. In fact, I know of a very, very prominent CNN reporter that was privy to an incident by a U.S. Army unit that caused a lot of civilian casualties that he chose NOT to report. I won't mention his name, but his nose is crooked and he's australian.

And I think embedded military correspondents have changed their nature over time. Gulf I was really the first time since Vietnam that they had a chance to get in the fight. Iraq and AFG have changed the game a bit.

There are many that just report from the Green Zone, which I think is rediculous; but you'd be suprised by how many very prominent and popular journalists have jumped in Humvees on a convoy.

That Richard Engle dude from NBC was in Iraq for five years and has been in AFG for over a year now, imbedded with Infantry companies at the front. He has done some great work and all of his reporting has been very pro-military.

Yeah this time around it seems more honest too me... I could tell you some stories about what happened and what was reported the last time around.

When he's sent in more troops (as he has already done, 34,000 this year), and the death toll keeps rising. Then you guys will be blaming him for that too.

I hope he withdraws, he has neither the backbone or he leadership skills to prosecute a war.
