Unlike those on the left that rely on emotional impact for their arguments to stick, my positions are not affected by my personal situation.

    So, no.

Where do I live, and does someone's perception of "beauty" create a sound position on this issue?

There has to be a lot of air going in/out to sustain such a thing.

Haha That's ridiculous... of course passion and personal situations affect your judgement. Stop lying like that.

This so called Green Revolution is indeed disturbing, but there are instances (like MTR) of the status quo which are even more disturbing. We cannot dismiss acts against MTR, as some Liberal Agenda juxtaposed to what is good for the Country.
And you must have missed mine.
The whining here against coal is based on the 'beastiality' of MTR.
Assume for the moment that MTR is complely eliminated.
What then, the argument against coal?

Damn straight it does. I'm logically driven 90% of the time, but when it comes to my family and my community there's no chance in hell logic will stop me from acting in their best interest.

Not sure, but it would probably be similar to fossil fuels... it's not as bad as DC says, but we still need to look for alternatives that keep jobs, keep costs to a minimum, and are feasible--

This is the typoical reaction of those that eschew logic and reason, and believe that their personal situation is powerful enough to create an argument, the result of which should affect everyone.

    News flash:
You, and everything about you, aren't that imporant.

    Logical fallacy, assuming the consequent.....
It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.
