But they do represent the Republican party so I for one find it kinda funny to watch them help sink the ship.
I agree, the other outlets are just as bad.
then obama's the fool for singling out the one
his war on fox has lost him the sympathy of the press pool
that's rather significant
and really quite astonishing
No, they do not represent the Republican party. Please point me to factual evidence with documentation that their journalists "represent" the Republican party.
My bad for stopping the thread. It just seems that FoxNews can spread lies and give false impressions but cannot be called out. It is quite annoying.
I can't locate it right now, but several months ago, one of FNC's news shows aired some RNC issued propaganda - with no alteration whatsoever, they didn't even notice the spelling error. They presented it as part of a 'news package', did not identify it as propaganda provided by the RNC.
They were called on it, and apologized the next day, but that's pretty blatant.
I do think it signals a huge turn of events when the press pool says they won't cover an event at all if one of their number is shut out.
OK, so once in how many years did they have to retract on those grounds? That's not very damning evidence.
And Beck and Co., on listening to them, do NOT represent the mainstream republican party. They represent entertainment dressed up in partisanship.
If they don't represent the republican party, that's a shame for the republican party then. Republican party leaders should speak out against Beck and Co.
All the crying in the world isn't going to change the fact that you are loosing the media war.
Obama is definitely doing himself no favors by crossing swords with a popular network such as Fox.
When Obama speaks, the entire country and indeed the world listens. Fox only captures a very small portion of the tiny radical-right of the Republican party. At best their viewership is about 2 million people. More people live in Brooklyn, NY than watch Fox News. So, trust me when I tell you "the news of Obama's demise at the hands of Fox has been greatly exaggerated".
taking gratuitous shots...
LOL!
at a sitting president!
my, my
just imagine
what has become of the world?
Yes there was a time when somebody did something like that they were, by order from Karl Rove, to be black balled from what ever industry they worked for. Then labled then as "Appeasers". Bush did that.
Thanks goodness are current leaders are sane people that actually care for their country and it's citizens and not just the serveing needs of their political party.

i'm sorry, you're incoherent
I think what the WH did was a blunder. What they should be doing is hitting back with facts without naming names.
One of the things I like about Howard Dean is he figured out the best way to hit the right back with their smear attacks was with facts and not head on with left wing smear. It paid off in the 06 and 08 elections.
The other thing that the WH has done is inadvertantly increased the viewership of FOX.
While I will defend FOX to make an assss out of themselves, I would hope the administraition would be above all of that.
Just my 2 cents
.
Fact is Jall...Fox News is nothing but "Rightwing Radio" on TV and they damn well should be called out for every single lie they tell...especially if it's only goal is to divide this county for self-serving politcal reasons...AGAIN.
If FOX is such a fringe network, why is the administration even bothering to take notice of it?
