PBO voted against the '07 Offensive and predicted it's failure. You can't expect him to support another offensive on his watch.

Continually making the wrong decision is nothing to be proud of & does not help this country. Making the right decision...even if slower....will always lead to a better outcome.

    Is Cheney wrong?
Is forming a stategy going forward based on sound intelligence and exploring or options "indecision"? No it is not.
Is rushing into a war with the wrong amount of troops and unsound intelligence "hurt or allies and embolden the enemy"? Yes ask Dick that is exactly what he and Bush did while they took a "stand off" policy towards Afghanistan for years. It is why Afghanistan the way it is today.

So, if Cheney is wrong, as you say, then, according to you:

-Signals of indecision out of Washington do NOT hurt our allies and do NOT embolden our adversaries

-The White House does NOT need to stop dithering while America's armed forces are in danger

-It is NOT time for President Obama to do what it takes to win a war he has repeatedly and rightly called a war of necessity.

Partisanism has nothing to do with it. If Bush did it, i'd hold the same position.

I hear you Rev but you do not speak for all the individual soldiers over there. As many as you could find on one side...there will be others on the other side.
Troops that I know (& I know plenty of vets too) fight for each other & to go home to their wives & kids. For the most part they are not looking at the big picture....They just want to make it home.
I say bring them home now...War is a political decision.....Let our President make the right one.

You bet we looked at the "big picture" when sitting there with no mission.

Yeah, let's bring them home no, so someone else can go back later and do it all over again. Do we really have to let history repeat itself??
