A woman in office would be no different than all the crap we deal with now. It's not like it would be a better situation for us. Different gender, same ****. Gender to me is a non issue, I don't care. What I care about is political platform. And that you have an IQ at least of that of a normal human instead of a brain dead monkey. Palin is an idiot and I don't care about her. So long as she keeps away from public office, I don't care what she says, or writes, or whatever.

While I also despise pretty much everything about Hillary, she may have indeed been a better president than Obama. That's nothing to Hillary's credit, it just goes to demonstrate how ****ty of a President Obama is. I think I'd rather have Bush back if we could nix Cheney.

When you are right, you are right. All true and well said.

As thousands of her constituents lay dead and brave cops and firefighters dug in the wreckage, she sat there rolling her eyes.

I don't care what she thought about Bush. Some things transcend petty politics, and the death of thousands of people is one of those things.

    I hate her.

Gender will never be a factor in my vote for the presidency. Competence will be.

    What behavior?
You linked to the video - I watched it, it's a good speech, yet, as far as I can tell, there's no reference or image of her at all.

Perhaps you posted the wrong clip?

I was just going to ask that, Aunt Spiker.

Also, btw, who is the guy sitting in the Speaker's chair? Is that Robert Byrd, and if it is, why is he sitting there?

I'm not sure that you really understand what a trademark is. We're not talking about the golden arches here... (Coming To American, McDowell's restaurant). Pick up the book. Look at it. Read the title.
Oh, I think I do. You do not, if you think those examples apply here or to anything I said.

And you can't copywrite an idea, only the expression of the idea.
I specifically said it wasn't a copyright issue.

The dark skies book could be seen as a parody of the Palin's book.
Parody is only "fair use" for copyright, not trademark. Trademark is for an entirely different purpose than copyright. The level to which a parody would excuse something has to do with the level of market confusion and nothing else. This has great potential for confusion.

If the books are truly similar the possible confusion could concievably cut both ways me think !!

Copywrite infringement would most likley be a factor if the contents were copied. No one needs to get permission to her picture since she is a pubic official and her image was already splattered all over the public sphere.

Have you seen any of those there scared LIBBO'S? What they be scared of ?
