The dollar has fallen to a 14-month low; and while a weaker dollar makes U.S. products cheaper overseas, chief executives gathered for the Business Council meeting in Cary, North Carolina, expressed deep concern that the anemic dollar signals serious jitters.

I have the feeling that when it comes to a certain point, your going to see people attempting to buy foreign currencies alongside gold and silver in order to do business.

White House war on Wall Street

Yep - here's the tactic: Bail them out using tax payer money. Play nice nice in a PR campaign convincing the American public that this was all for the greater good in avoiding a Wall Street crash. Then, condemn the same when they pay out bonuses, and show how evil Capitalism is. And where does that put the investors? Shoving investments over seas - into the Euro and out of the dollar. We're well on our way to becoming the largest banana republic in the world.

Was this dingle-berry created by Michael Moore or just the latest in the White House power struggle to take over production in this county? Sound crazy? Anita Dunn and her Maoist philosophy a la Glen Beck coming into play? Conspiracy theory alarms going off? Yeah - they are for me too and I'm writing this down in a public forum and I'm not happy about it.

How about the White House stop going to domestic war with everyone who disagrees with them and just "put up or shut up". Go prove all the critics wrong and create 4 million jobs. Close Guantanamo and stop playing political and legal patty cake and just do it. Stop making the White House look like a 5 year old on the playground and just go on Fox and do interviews and "tell it like it is". Instead, we get the naive views, the inexperienced political actions and nutjobs holding Czar positions --- proving the critics from 2008 correct each and every day.

What an abortion this current administration is becoming...

Actually, I find this to be right. Winners don't whine about their critics. They just go be awesome.

If the sinking dollar means a shift towards manufacturing and away from corporate business, then that's just the way the wind blows. The fact that corporations got so many bailouts shows just how much power they have over congress.
