Top Revolutionary Guard commanders assassinated

1. Bad analogy in this case. The man was beating and torturing his wife, killed a couple of their kids, was mixing explosives in the bathtub, and had invited some nasty characters over to share dinner.

2. We aren't.

1. So you burst in, killed his remaining kids, blew his wife's legs off and robbed him in a process? Nice.

2. Take a map. No, not this one
american-world-800x560.jpg

Take a real map, and find there Caspian Sea. Now, find on a map countries:
1) Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan. Remember how close Pakistan came to becoming the next US target? Well, that's because of this
afghan_oil_pipeline.jpg

and the fact that while the US was busy spreading democracy along the pipeline in Afghanistan, China made itself comfortable on the othe end of that pipeline, in Pakistan. Your country doesn't like it...

2) Another US pipeline NABUCCO
la_route_nabucco.png

red on a map, but do you see what countries suppose to feed it? Azerbaijan (US owes it already) and Iran, with Georgia (remember war in Ossetia?) providing a supporting line. Russia already offered to buy ALL Azerbaijani gas at $350. The chances are it will get it. The US simply can't let Iran slip, and since it can't pay, it must have it by force. Unless of course the US would not be able to take on yet another war...

3) Yet another US pipeline AMBO that was the reason behind a coloured revolution in Yugoslavia, and the US involvement in a war against Serbia and the US current attempts to set up a shop in Ukrainian Crimea.

But what is the most interesting is that all those pipelines were EU desperate attempts to free itself not only from Russia, but from the US when it comes to EU energy sources and routes. The US simply can't allow it to happen! Your power elites don't want their vassals to break free!

Once again, not the case.

Great map! You forgot Africa, though.

So what's your point? None of this is news. All of those situations are where the US is extending a security guarantee - my original point.

The EU was doing nothing to guarantee security for those pipelines.

Forget Africa! In the words of your Great Pole, -- who controls Euroasia, controls Africa. Right now the US is fighting to control its increasingly rebellious vassals -- Europe, and stubborn in their opposition to democratic spreading Asians.

My point is this: your country, your country's power clans to be precise, are setting the whole world on fire, waging wars, killing and maiming in the name of their greed (not freedom, or democracy, or human rights). Their greed is not to be mistaken for the US interests since, as their profits rise, your average Joe has to foot the bill. You can continue to call your country a custodian of world's security, but the world on whom this "security" was bestowed see your country as a duplicitous bully.

2. And now imagine: you are sitting with your family on a couch, suddenly the door bursts open and some dude from the other side of the town stomps in, beats ten shades of cr*p out of you, takes your sofa and f*cks your wife; and when you try to protest, tells you to shut up and appreciate that he is doing it for your own good, and if you don't like it then you are nothing but an ungrateful pig.

You just described how America's enemies do business.

Standard leftist claptrap. We are indeed fighting to spread freedom and democracy and human rights. I see this happening in Iraq, where the populace is educated and the economy developed. I am much more skeptical about Afghanistan and think we should get out. Democracy doesn't seem to take root there. We may be viewed as a bully, but it isn't the cold war anymore. We will act.

But, we're not the ones that start the trouble. It's always someone else. The Iranian government brought this bombing on themselves, whether the US is involved, or not.

"elected" US glove puppet government.

Something tells me that someone who genuinely "grew up" in the soviet union would not make an idiotic statement like this, or some of the others you seem to be offering. I directly question your claims of origin...

It is premature to speculate of the US involvement, but this involvement is very probable.

VERY PROBABLE, based upon something posted on another forum? Very probable in YOUR mind because that's what you wish to believe. Way to jump to conclusions and a completely indefensible argument.

Evidence that we are involved? Please put it up or shut up.

Because you have the cultural familiarity with former soviet citizens to make that kind of claim. Because its extremely obvious that you don't know what you're talking about whatsoever. You assume to know what former soviets would and would not think politically, I assume you believe that they should follow a revisionist mindset that aligns with your impressions of the Soviet Union?

It's just about as out there as some of the common statements I see on this forum.

Since you KNOW NOTHING about me, you can STFU RIGHT NOW.

I grew up in Russia, so you can be REAL quiet, RIGHT NOW.

Noone who grew up in the USSR can possibly be as far left as that poster is claiming. If you did know anything, or anyone who is polish, ukrainian, etc., they are HUGE US supporters (at least until the idiot Obama bent over for putin and pulled the missile defense last week).

Another person living in a house without a mirror...

Russians Russians everywhere... hrrm.
I question the degree of your enculturation.

You are not refering to your official conspiracy theory on 9/11, are you?

You are a standup comedian, and I claim my £5!

I detect a serious lack of trust here.

Am I to assume you deliberately missed my link to Centre for International Policy Report? Here it is again: http://www.ciponline.org/asia/reports/pakistan_the_state_of_the_union.pdf

Please, read up and shut up.

Could you please share the indecent in which the targeted guards brought assassination upon themselves.

1. Just in case you didn't notice, the USSR was not an bird incubator that produces identicals. I'll go with an opinion of your opponent: your view of people of the former USSR was formed by Western propaganda away from realities.

2. As much as Poles dislike Russians, they are not too keen on the US either.

As for Ukrainians, allow me to issue you a special invitation onto few Ukrainian forums so you can get a feel of what Ukrainian citizens think of the US and its policies. Btw, they make no distinction between your presidents since it's not them who decide on your foreign policies.

And since you grew up in Russia you should have no problems with Russian language.

PS
Let me know the results of your observations. ;)

Look at the history of the Revolutionary, specifically their conduct during the protests this summer and you can see for yourself how they brought the assissinations upon themselves.

I hope the US is involved, the sooner the fascist dictatorship of thugs and murderers that is iran is wiped off the face of the earth the better.

I doubt that the Iranian regime will survive on the long run. Its youth is running away from the Islamists, I am pretty sure there will be reforms that will end the dictatorship or a revolution.

A hope for the regime is an involvement from outside so that they can mobilize the people to unite against a foreign agressor. Furthermore it would be a shame for the US if they supported a bunch of Sunni terrorists to carry out suicide attacks; the same type of people who torture US soldiers to death in front of a camera and the same kind of people who fly air planes into buildings.

The IRI is a tumor, a cancer in the heart of the middle east that must be destroyed.

Sunni terrorism is as well and its not a sign of a healthy organism if cancer cells start to eat each other.

They are lunatics, one day they attack Shiites, next day New York, next day maybe Beijing or Moscow, they are fanatics, they are brutal and they are not handable or controlable.

Nevertheless I did not see any evidence for the involvement of the US.

So hold on... we have to go ever there to kill them in self defense. Because they are a giant group with mechanisms set up to subvert political dissent.

Yes we have to defend ourselves and our allies from state sponsors of terrorism like Iran. But I suppose you support the death of American soldiers and Israeli civilians.

What's the context to the photo? You tell me.

Um you posted it sport. But I suppose in your world a still photo showing nothing proves something.

And what does it matter that it is from he UK?

Um because we were discussing the U.S..

You think that maybe I didn't notice or something? I apologize. I didn't know that is was taboo to talk about other countries other than the axis of evil. If we are going to get tough on those who crack down on dissent then why not go full tilt?

Yes in your ass backwards universe the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is a moral equivalent to the United Kingdom's police force.
