Can't get divorced if ya can't get married, huh?
You can't cause car accidents if no one can drive either, but that's no reason to stop someone from getting a driver's license.


The main reason second marriages end in divorce is due to the step-parent dynamic.

I would passionately support legislation banning re-marriage when either or both people (same or opposite sex) have minor children; "equality" be damned.

We restrict driver's licenses on high-risk drivers, though. Why not marriage? It's just another license...I mean the right to carry arms is specifically protected by the constitution and we place license restrictions on that right.

Why don't we just tell mixed couples they can't be married while on school grounds and call it settled?

I'm telling you the government already does, so why not direct that intent and regulation towards assuring more successful unions? Make it harder to marry and divorce for everyone so as to cover the high-risk demographics without singling them out. Some unions shouldn't occur, like second marriages with children, so further regulation is in order, imo.

Being a conservative, shouldn't you say something like, you know....Less government is good government? Why are you giving the government so much power to control people's lives?

I get all confused with the various sub-types of Conservative the left keeps inventing for us. It's like calling yourself Native'American or African'American. In the same way that I'm just an American, I'm just a Conservative.
 
How silly. Preventing the marriage will not prevent interracial relationships, nor will it prevent the birth of mixed race children.

They'll just do it out of wedlock.

I'm sure that's a much better option for the children. :lol:

It is telling (as i stated many pages ago) that conservatives support government intervention in peoples marriages on the basis of children. A boy and a girl can create a child without being married, therefore if government were to intervene by subsidizing out of wedlock abortion (as children without both parents are more likely to abuse drugs, go to jail, etc...), these same conservatives switch to ideology and state the government has no right to do so, even though it borrows from the same logic.

Anyone claiming to be conservative, and supporting such a notion is so incredibly full of ****, blue contacts could not keep their eye's from displaying that brownish hue.

When calling on government intervention, be careful what you wish for....
 
The Justice of the Peace should be commended for denying this couple to get married. Interracial dating and marriage is a disturbing trend that is ruining the traditions and culture of white america. I support him 100% as do many here in Louisiana where I live. The political correctness in America manipulated by jewish owned hollywood and the Main Stream Media has tainted Americas culture, faith and family values that made this country the envy of the world. Interracial marriage does cause problems and the marriages mostly fail as the Justice of the Peace says. Black men only marry white women for status symbols or upward mobility and usually the black husbands or boyfriends end up killing the white spouses when the relationships go bad. The children of the interracial couples usually are harrassed in the schools as they grow up. They are called here in the south "High Yellers" or Mud Sharks by their peers. It has a mental effect on them as they are taunted and causes problems later as the grow up. Again, the Justice of the Peace is doing the right thing in preventing a travesty and he is a champion of preserving the White Heritage that has maintained the United States Of America since its foundation. He needs our support.

I made a statement and stand by it. I believe the Justice of the Peace should be left alone and support his decision. He is doing the right thing. He has the right to deny this marriage license. This is America. He has the freedom of speech and expression of his views.

I spent my summers growing up in Donaldson Ville LA. I can honestly say I was never called any of those.
