    at all costs.

And has been from day one.
Just how can the republicans be stalling this when Democrats have a filibuster proof majority? The Democrats can pass this bill any time that they want with absolutely no help from Republicans.

Thanks for pointing this out. The liberals have gotten so used to blaming the Republicans for everything that they are no longer able to identify the true causes of what they are seeing politically. The Democrats could pass anything they wanted but will have major problems doing so. Apparently, there are some Democrat Senators and Representatives who learned the same lesson my father taught me.

"You can do anything you want to as long as you are willing to pay the price for what you do. And everything has a price."

The price of passing these bills will be the jobs of a number of Representatives and some Senators. This will be a good opportunity to see which of these politicians really have the strength of their convictions. True believers in the Democratic agenda will vote Yes and accept being replaced in the next election as a fair price for their beliefs. The others will vote No and stand a better chance of re-election but will be exposed as posers.

This dialogue is really confusing. What are Reid's motives?
