Yeah, because there's SO much depth to the liberal positions. LOL. Whatever they are.

He's batting about .990 in his career debating liberals. It's why he catches all the venom, because he's almost always proven to be right in the end.

So........quick, call him a racist, Al and Jesse. Hmmm, Tawana Brawley and the Duke lacrosse team...whatever happened with those?

I'm more commenting on the social backlash, especially in the media.

You had idiot bleeding hearts in the sports media like Kevin Blackenstone going on and on how Mike Vick needs a second chance, Mike Vick needs to be back in the league, even if there are people protesting and Vick broke league rules, he shouldn't be barred from being back in the league....who then turn around and start writing stories filled with misleading, and some absolutely false, information about Rush Limbaugh and how he shouldn't own a team.

You have outrage on the part of players and owners and the commissioner and some fans about Rush Limbaugh being potentially allowed into the league because of controversial SPEECH...

Yet you had outpouring of support from many of those same people for a man that was a face of the franchise, a role model (like it or not, sports people are for many), who was systematically and continually using his wealth generated from football to participate in illegal activities and continually broke league policy.

Its not the business aspect that bothers me. I understand and accept that and support that completely, unlike the hypocrites on the other side that were against the business/priveldge aspects of it with Vick but for it with Limbaugh, its the social part that bugs me.
Yeah, the media has favorites. Is it no surprise that the media doesn't like Limbaugh though? He's only railed against them for over twenty years. He has reaped what he has sown. He should have stayed with the Royals.

Yeah I'm sure he wishes he'd stayed with the Royals.

You think he would be making $50 million a year and have 15 million people listening to him every week if he was still in KC??

So will you feel the same way about this if Soros is found to be a contributing member to this group? Soros, major funder of MoveOn.Org (You know, the group that took out a full page ad calling a standing general during war time essentially a traitor) and outspoken extreme liberal activist. Will Michael Wilbon and Kevin Blackenstone write up large articles criticizing him, warning how damaging he'd be having such a "controversial" figure owning a team in the NFL, using false quotes by him because they're ****ty reporters that don't bother researching anything or out of context comments?

Somehow, I'm not expecting that to happen.

Yeah? Most of his shrillest critics don't see any difference between the two, and I think that's pretty clear in this thread. So no, I don't buy that in the least.

I swear people boggle my mind sometimes.
    It's a double standard indeed.

I'm not expecting it to happen either. None of those hold a candle to hate spewed from El Rushbo on a daily basis.

Karma seems to have dealt with the situation very well however!
