Fox is obviously wrong for fact checking the white house.

You're supposed to fact check Comedy Shows, not white house officials. Hasn't CNN taught us anything?

Re: White House [continues to] Escalates War on Fox News

This administration has repeatedly confronted or singled out the right wing media, and every time they do the administration comes off as childish. There are serious problems with the media in this country and particularly with the politicization of the media, but they are systemic problems. It's plain that the Obama administration does not have qualms with "news" organizations pushing a particular viewpoint, they just have a problem with the viewpoint that Fox is pushing. By failing to either take the media as a whole to task or show how Fox is different from other organizations and therefore deserving of separate treatment the White House comes off as partisan hacks.

Fox's so-called fact checking is grossly lacking in any objectivity. When they use Heritage Foundation stats and GOP talking points as their 'fact checks'...

Come off it, Zyphlin... I'm embarrassed for you.

Ah, you don't seem to get it . . .

Dunn says Fox fact-checking at all is inappropriate, because "no Sunday show" does that.

Besides, facts are facts and if they're wrong, they're wrong.

    PARSING, PARSING, PARSING....

ALERT...ALERT...I HAVE NO VALID POINT, SO I'LL JUST REFOCUS THE DISCUSSION ON ONE SPECIFIC COMMENT...I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT MY PRECIOUS FNC PROPAGANDA NETWORK ANYMORE...

Honestly, I don't even know what you're talking about.

    Dunn?

    Sunday shows are discussion shows?

    ???

Fox news editorial vs. news vs. ...???

BTW, if the facts are wrong, they're not...um... factual.

Re: White House [continues to] Escalates War on Fox News

If FNC is not a news channel as such and if this was confirmed at an earlier date by Rupert Murdoch, why would the White House permit a "facts check" when the facts check was being requested by a channel similiar to The Comedy Channel?

I don't believe that the White House would respond to a fact check from that channel either.

Of course you don't know what I'm talking about; you have a habit of seeing exactly what you want to see, as I've pointed out before.

    From the OP:

The White House stopped providing guests to 'Fox News Sunday' after Wallace fact-checked controversial assertions made by Tammy Duckworth, assistant secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, in August. Dunn said fact-checking an administration official was "something I've never seen a Sunday show do."

Uh, yeah, which is why it doesn't matter if Fox News quotes the Heritage Foundation for a fact being wrong if it is, in fact, wrong.

When you cannot respond with honesty and transparency, you attack the messenger.

This is just illustrative of what the Democrat party represents these days, a reprehensible demagogueing hyper partisan leftist party which knows that if they espoused their political policies honestly, transparently and in the open, they could never win an election in this nation. At least not yet; give the Librul educators enough time and they will have sufficient numbers if empty headed uniformed Americans to guarantee Democrat majorities regardless of the destructive nature of their partisan policies.

These kinds of tactics are something you would expect from morons like Hugo Chavez and Castro; gotta love all this change eh?
