Never said that, but then again I didn't try and claim some tag of laughable non bias to MSNBC due to them having Scarborough on their morning show either, that would be you, and you got pwned over it, so just cut you losses and carry on.....:2wave:

But the best part of the story is at the end when Mrs. Dunn say's that Mr. Obama may or may not go on Fox News. Well ain't that special hell if I ran Fox News the first thing I would do Tonight in Prime Time is call out Mr. Obama and this White House, I would invite him onto Fox News and if he didn't want to come I would call him on by accusing him and this White House of being Cowards.

And, amusingly, Yglesias' blog isn't a liberal blog, it's a progressive blog. Which sometimes gets confused, but never could in his case. He is a true progressive.

Hotair.com does of a good job of explaining what it's really all about and it's sounds kind of scary to think that an administration in this country would to pull something like this. They make a damn good point when they ask, "what if Bush had gone to war with MSNBC?".

Both Politico and Mediaite note that the expected righteous indignation at being lectured by politicians on what they should consider news is strangely absent from most of the press corps — with the important exception of Jake Tapper. Go figure. Even the reliably liberal Ruth Marcus felt obliged to wonder what the reaction would have been had Dubya declared war on MSNBC and encouraged other news outlets to ignore the nightly spiel on “Countdown.” Olby would have duly clambered up onto the cross as a free-speech martyr — after a 40-minute special comment on freedom of the press and the “chill winds” of totalitarianism, natch — and the rest of the media would have gladly circled the wagons. Does anyone seriously think otherwise?

The relevancy? HotAir is full of hotair .... if he tweren't he wouldn't lie to you. Perino admitted they shutout MSNBC, refused interviews ... Gillepsie sent whiny (publicly issued) letters to heads of news organizations about bias and fudging opinion/news, etc and more.


ps - Matt Yglesias is not ThinkProgress, ThinkProgress is a separate blog. However, I'm proud to link to either, they are well-sourced and well-written, generally.
