    This is too easy !!

No democracy needed for Russia, says ruling party think-tank see link = No democracy needed for Russia, says ruling party think-tank | International | Reuters

weak or no checks and balances within the state,

virtauall no political and legal transparency,

    no independent media ,

political parties do not live and nongovernmental groups do not flourish

reporters are killed and the government cannot find/or does not want to find and punish the killers
I do not recall the Viet Cong asking me if I was a natural born or Naturalized American before they shot at me, they just shot at all of us f107HyperSabr

Forget the reporters! Have you found who killed your president?

    I've never voted there lol.
It was just so unrelated to what I posted i couldn't find anything logical in what you said.

As for the world's greatest democracy last I checked, the population in opposition to the elected government goes politically insane to the point they must be monitored by domestic surveillance because they are an issue to national security.

Not true. I mean, most people don't think elections in America are rigged, but for how long has Robert Byrd been elected? Strom Thurmond?
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet the Makeout Hobo, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

I don't know about France, but when we were voting by post it resulted in an avalanche of claims of abuse of a system, yet the results were accepted. Do you see logical connection to "Rigged polls and elections" now?
