    To bad about her murder.
A lot of people think she was wrong about her carrying a gun to a soccer game, that is their opinion. If she carried it concealed it would have been a non-issue.Anyone who has been in harms way will tell you,it is better to have a gun and not need it,than not have one and need it.

Police have not said who killed whom. They did say the bodies were found on different floors of the family's Lebanon house. Autopsies are scheduled for Friday.

Some neighbors told the Lebanon Daily News they heard or saw the children — a 10-year-old boy and girls ages 2 and 6 — running from the house and screaming “Daddy shot Mommy!” shortly before the 911 emergency center was alerted at 6:20 p.m.

Apparently she had a good reason to be carrying a firearm, even if it didn't work out that way.

If she was under a threat or in "harms way" ok if you really need to dter a known threat but I forgot the deatils yet memory tells me that Hahn was not under a direct threat.

note the question asks how it was acquired. your 'answer' addresses where.

but the picture of her displaying her weapon was in 2008 and I didn't think that she was in a threat situation at that time.

If someone has a link to a story that shows that she need to defend herslf at the soccoer game back in 2008 please post it. If you info convinces me I will back off my condemnation of her.

If the woman -legally- carried the gun to the soccer match, then what she did was a legitimate exercise of her rights.

There's nothing that says you have to like the way someone exercises their rights -- but you do have to respect the fact that she does have that right.

Is this link relevant to the story? How?
What information do you have that indicates that she did not legally buy the gun?

    As for the link itself?
More anti-gun nonsense, hoping to catch an ignorant reader unawares:

The stings, described in a city report released Wednesday, were conducted at seven gun shows in Tennessee, Ohio and Nevada. Those states are among the many that permit private unlicensed dealers, known as "occasional sellers," to sell weapons at gun shows without conducting background checks.
There is no such thing as an unlicensed dealer -- if you have a license, you are a dealer; if you do not, you are not.

Only dealers are required to run background checks, and they have to do this at gun shows -- and so, there is no 'gun show loophole'.

Private sellers are -never- required to run background chekds -- and so there is no 'gun show loophole'.

so were you asking if she acquired the weapon legally ?? The preponderance of the evidence says that it was legal becasue she would have to be an absolute freaking dumbassed idiot bufoon to display an illegal weapon !!!

Perhaps the reason she had carried a gun to begin with was the threat to her life.

I believe some people are claiming that too many people acquire weapons illegally but you are corect that is not part of this thread.
