When Bush was in office he was notorious for saying one thing, and then working behind the scenes in order to make the opposite come to pass. Obama is no different. While he has appeared outwardly ambivalent about the public option in the health bill, and even supporting alternatives, he has, just as Bush did, been working behind the scenes to push the public option. Now one problem I had with Bush was that he was frequently dishonest with the American people. Unfortunately, Obama has that same dishonesty.

If Obama wants the public option, he should just say it, rather than *****footing around and telling lies to the American people. The way I see it, a man is only as good as his word, and Obama appears to me to be not much of a man.
