    A) And had that BEFORE the revolution.

    B) And is LOWER than Costa Rico when they started out even.

And that list has long been discredited. They attributed Cuban resources to Fidel, but they were owned by the state, any profits the styate make are reinvested in Cuba. So it's nonsense, and known nonsense at that.
So then you don't disagree with the sex and medical tourism? FYI in Cuba Castro is the state.
Provide one peer reviewed paper on the planet corroborating these medical breakthroughs and granting them to Cuba.

But that is not too deny what I said, regardless of what it was beforehand, the revolutions advancement in literacy is unparalleled.
No again like life expectancy was already one of the highest in all of Latin America and its progression happened much more slowly than the rest of Latin America after the revolution.

The rest of what you said is really just slogans and irrelevancies.
Ya until you compare Cuba with Costa Rica on the Human Development Index and they, also have more civil liberties and less natural resources.

It's a great shame on every freedom-loving person when tyrants like Stalin or Fidel die a natural death, instead of skinned alive and boiled in Tabasco sauce...

Great success? Battista may have been a corrupt dictator, but Cuba's economy and standard of living were the envy of Latin America at the time. Now it's quite poor. Don't blame the embargo. We had quite a few economic ties with them before the Revolution, but we're the only country with an embargo. They've had 50 years to bounce back.

What's ironic is that the same people who blame the embargo for Cuba's problems often blame America's free trade with other Latin American countries for those countries' problems.

The U.S. just can't win can it?

It's still the envy of Latin America. That is the reason you cannot get elected in Latin America without declaring friendship with Fidel Castro and indignation with the US.

Yes praise the man who locks up dissidents, maintains a personality cult, and has destroyed his nation's economy. Call economic connections "imperialism" all you want, but that doesn't stop the fact that they have dramatically improvecd the standard of living for Cubans while that autocratic thug, Castro, has substantially reduced it. I've had enough BS for one day, see ya

Why are you lying? Cuba did not have higher life expectancy than in Washington DC. You have lied and everyone can see it. And as you have so blatantly lied, no man of good conscience will believe another word you say.

I've never heard of Costa Rico. It's that succesfull a state you don't even know it's name.

Neither exists. And Castro is not the state, the communisty party is the authority in Cuba, and Castro is not the party, merely the figurehead, visionary and father, who, thus, must be respected.

I've provided you with proof, if you don't believe it, do some research. With such apparent laziness it is no wonder you hate the state of the workers so much.

You keep saying that, but we have nothing but your word, and regardless, Cuba still performs on par with the 1st world, the region doesn't. Cuba is the envy of Latin America. Which is the very reason we have such great men in ower in the region, such as Chavez, Morales and Correa, because the people want to be more like Cuba.

Fantastic, you know what country you are talking about now Cuba outperforms the vast majority of similar states on that index and that is despite of the inherent anti proletarian attitudes of such organizations. These elitist ruling class representatives will never give Cuba the credit they deserve, but through gritted teeth they will give the minimum they can get away with.
