Kudos for telling us when it supposedly started, now can you tell us exactly what Bush did to cause it?

Go look at post #10 I bolded and underlined it for you.
The haggardness of poverty is everywhere seen contrasted with the sleekness of wealth, the exhorted labor of some compensating for the idleness of others, wretched hovels by the side of stately colonnades, the rags of indigence blended with the ensigns of opulence; in a word, the most useless profusion in the midst of the most urgent wants.Jean-Baptiste Say

I do not think that cutting taxes and fighting two wars caused banks to fail, and thereby the recession. The cost of the war at the end of the Bush term was around $1 trillion, and the CBO estimates on his tax cuts showed a long term revenue increase.

Deficits do not automatically equate to recession. I think more of the cause was the collapse of the banking sector, credit swaps, perhaps oil prices, the failure of the derivative market, which surely no one can blame squarely on the Bush administration, as the causes for that collapse were created and furthered over the course of years and multiple administrations.

Yes it was a contributing factor, along with the deregulation of the banking and the repeal of Glass-Steagall, act in 1999, which brought about the mergers of investment banks and regular banks.

Here’s a graph you can look at until I get back with you tomorrow, this old trucker has to hit the bunk, have a early delivery tomorrow, see ya on the flip.

Looks like Obama is just a little short of his promise to create 3,500,000 new jobs.... like about 3,475,000 short, but what the heck, it only cost us $787,000,000,000.

I don't know about you, but I'm impressed!
Hey, be nice to Obama. Just recently, he noted that he 'slowed the rate of loss of jobs.'

"Don't worry, folks, the country is still going down the tubes but less of you lost jobs this month than last month. Remember, there's always the government!"

It's beginning to show that he never accomplished much in the private sector - the man has no clue on anything relating to a balance sheet or income statement. Tax, spend, wreck, repeat.

I would say this is a nice change from the Republican's cut taxes and spend like drunken sailors policy but that's like comparing a turd to diarrhea. Both stink.

You're happy that we have more useless people getting a Gubermet check ?

What Government agency do you know that does a good job? Or are they
all inefficient and wasteful entities ?

These "JOBs" are like the ACORN positions, they basically that give taxpayer
money to hacks to push Obama's agendas !

And the cost ??? Take a look at what our politicians have done for us, and why we should not allow them to
    control our finances !

This cartoon pretty well sums up the Acorn hysteria from the right.

Nevermind the corruption within the ACORN ranks, right?

That cartoon does pretty well put in the proper perspective don’t you think?
