how could it be a right wing-conspiracy on 9-12... all the right wingers were in DC that day :P... and it was clean cause the anarchists / agents provocateurs / undercover cops didn't get that memo.

It's all in Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals".... the Democratic party play book.
First time I've heard the 'rules for radicals' reference on this site... I'm almost surprised that this post doesn't get kicked to the conspiracy zone for thinking that democrats might play by those rules.

I think the way this whole story has been handed by the FBI investigators and the media is bizzare. Considering the political atmosphere leading up to the day it happened.

Funny how the Right Wing toned down their wacko rehetoric instantly and changed their tone considerably.

Lindsey Graham was pretty much within days of this occuring out throwing Glenn Beck and his wacko followers under the bus.

People were warning that crazy stuff like this would start to happen if the rehetoric continued. To bad it had to come to an event like this for the Republican leadership to open it's eyes.

Good lord; nothing new is known about this, and you're STILL on about it being connected to the 912ers?

Re: Census worker hanged, "FED" written on his chest

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham Thursday blamed the lack of civility in today’s political discourse on 24-hour news cycle, talk radio and voters’ electing confrontational politicians to office. But he saved some of his best shots for Fox News hosts Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck.
During a conversation with Jeffrey Goldberg at The First Draft of History (a conference in Washington, D.C. produced by The Atlantic, the Newseum and The Aspen Institute), Lindsey Graham slammed some very popular (and powerful) members of the media. Imagining if the Framers had to write the Constitution today, Graham speculated that host Bill O’Reilly would complain that “Ben Franklin [is] giving in on something.”

Asked what he thinks of another Fox News personality, Glenn Beck, Graham replied, “Only in America can you make that much money crying,” adding that Beck is “not aligned with any party as far as I can tell. He’s aligned with cynicism. And there’s always been a market for cynicism.”

“But we became a great nation not because we are a nation of cynics. We became a great nation because we are a nation of believers,” he added.

On the issue of whether he agreed with President Jimmy Carter’s assessment that much of the criticism towards President Obama of is rooted in racism, Graham said, “I don’t think so. There are people in this country that are having a hard time reconciling the fact that we have a black president,” he acknowledged.

Graham is still kinda out there when he says as far as he can tell Beck is not aligned with any party...It must be nice to have such convienent blinders on.

It sure does appear by these statements that some of the Republican leadership want to play no part in Beck's cynical hatemongering.

I wonder why Graham thinks there are many in this country who are having a hard time reconciling with the fact we have a black president?

Could it be that up too the day this vicious murder happened the Republican leadership fully supported Becks cynical racist rehetoric and they did NOTHING to tap it down.

Interesting though that Becks new crowd of koolaid drinkers and Palin and McCains crowd of drunk koolaid drinkers.

Nice diatribe, but it has squat to do with the thread topic.

And... Graham was on O'Reilly last night and certainly didn't "slam" O'Reilly during the show.

Officials release body of hanged Ky. census worker - Yahoo! News

By JEFFREY McMURRAY, Associated Press Writer Jeffrey Mcmurray, Associated Press Writer – Tue Oct 6, 3:16 pm ET
LONDON, Ky. – Authorities have released the body of a part-time census worker found in a remote Appalachian forest nearly a month ago with a rope around his neck and "fed" scrawled across his chest, but they still will not say if someone killed him.

Josh Sparkman said police had released his father's pickup truck, which was found at the scene. Although he says police have told him nothing, he remains certain the death was a homicide.

He said many things, including a census laptop and personal items like his grandfather's wedding ring, were missing from the truck and were not on a list of potential evidence that investigators kept. State police Capt. Lisa Rudzinski confirmed the laptop was not found in the truck but declined to comment on the other items.

"They ransacked that truck," Josh Sparkman said. "That's more evidence this is not an accident or suicide. This is a homicide."

Sparkman said he was working on organizing a memorial service for his father but hadn't scheduled it because he is broke and hasn't found a funeral home to host it. He said he would like to do it soon.

Didn't you hear?? They're checking Glenn Beck's phone records to see where he was on whatever day this guy died.
