"Loyalty only matters when there's a hundred reasons not to be-" Gen. Mattis
The more I think about it, the more this thread makes me sick. I really find it completely revolting when partisan hacks rush into a tragedy to score cheap political points. It reminds me of when pro and anti gun advocates rushed to use Columbine to "prove" their point of view before the bodies of the kids that were killed were even in the ground. Not everything is a partisan hack-fest. Is it too much to ask for people to show some common human decency once in a while?
Someone is dead. We don't know why and any rush to blame any group is speculation at best, and in the case of this thread, blind partisan smear tactics at worse. If evidence comes forward that the killing was politically motivated, then I could see having a discussion on it, but not before hand. If anything, we should all be agreeing that the murder was deplorable and we should be unified in hoping the killer, whatever their motivation was, is brought to justice.
But I'm sure the hacks will ignore this, like they do anytime anyone calls them out on their BS. So don't mind me, go back to your partisan smear tactics. You're really scoring points for your side, but you'll cry foul when the other side uses similar tactics at the next convinient tragedy.

"You don't have to eat them", the wise old Māori warrior answered, "but you must make them think you will eat them, so that they know you fear nothing and would stop at nothing to make your enemies pay for attacking your village."
"Then why do I have to stick my tongue out at the enemy's women", the young warrior asked, "women don't fight, and it's dishonorable to kill women after battle, and especially dishonorable to eat them alive."
"It takes a whole village to go to war", the old warrior answered. "Their women help make the Stingray Spears, or cook the food for their warriors, or they watch the battle from the distance and chant to give their men courage. If we can make their women afraid, the men will not be able to fight either."
I worked in the area where I live. That was helpful because I could easily soothe people's suspicions by letting them know that I lived down the road, know their uncle so and so and was just working a temp job, not the F.B.I. for goodness sake. More of the time, I was worried about people's dogs.
The Poor man must have run into a real nutter.

In regards to this...
First, I think its idiotic to immedietely try and claim that the persons political ideology was an over riding reason for this as if its definite fact.
Second, that said, some pissed off idiot militant conservative is a legitimate potential scenario.
Third, even if that's the case, its absolutely insane to try and blame the singular act by some absolute whackjob that is One in HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of conservatives on Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck anymore than you can blame some nutjob eco-terrorist's actions on Al Gore or Nancy Pelosi. That'd like be blaming some jackass throwing shoes at George W. Bush or idiots that have been arrested for attempts to assassinate him on Michael Moore.
Fourth, WI i spot on. Trying to blame some lone nutjobs idiotic action on someone is no different than idiots trying to blame Marilyn Manson or Blink 182 for their kid killing themselves or "Doom" for causing Colombine.
Fifth, its laughable watching some of the most hyper partisan liberals in here trying so desperately to make the implication that its Beck or Hannity's fault (while not actually saying it becaus they know how patheticly stupid that argument is and they think they're smarter then they are by trying to get around it by making it clearly evident in implication but not actually saying it. Guess what, you're not.). This, the act of one or a few lone extremists at best. However, when you have video taped actual proof of numerous acorn offices all doing essentially the same thing in helping an underage prostitution ring get set up they claim its inconclusive and you can't blame it on acorn or acorns practices or any mindset put forth by liberalism or by the president or a sign of the organization. No no no, those things...all incredibly similar, all in various places in the country, all by people specifically hired and trained by an organization...THOSE things are completely singularly the fault of the person doing them and is not an indication in any way to anything else, but a few possible nut jobs completely on their own with no proof they even listen to Hannity or Beck OBVIOUSLY would only have done this due to the way they've "stired them up".
Sixth, god damnit I feel like I'm the Prof all of a sudden.
"I am appalled that somebody who is the nominee...would take that kind of position"
"A court took away a presidency"
"...the brother of a man running for president was the governor of the state..."
It's horrifying because Trump is blunt instead of making overt implications.
