House Votes to De-Fund ACORN

I'm pleasantly surprised by this timely action by the House of Representatives.

This must have been painful for Pelosi, who has sabotaged 6 previous efforts of other House members who pushed to de-fund ACORN.

Right now Congress really did not have much choice on this. In some ways it is too bad, since the goals of the organization is good. Housing and voter regestration for poor people is something I can get behind. Unfortunately, ACORN has proven to be the wrong organization for the job right now. I hope they get their crap together and get rid of the corrupt people and the idiots.
