No special interest of any kind should be the sole writer of any bill. They can have their say and in certain cases should have their say. For example a bill on veterans benefits should haveinput from the Veteran Service organizations.

During the Bush administartion industries of which regulations bills were being worked were asked to actually write some bills not just help as you said about a union. I don't have to "brace myself" about the percent of union membership because union membership has been falling and the decline in union membership has fallen roughly in pace with the decline in our manufacturing levels.

What you say about watching only one news source does mean that the person is an idiot or at best narrow minded( my words) is true. What I saw over the years is that the media as a whole was not "liberal" but yes there a few probably very few know up front tended to either have the prism of some liberal tendancies. For the most part the media was fair and balanced. What I believe happened is that the right wng wanted the media to push their agenda and there wasn't anyone doing that. Then along caame FOX. The right wing flocked to FOX not because it wanted fair and balanced news but to hear it's point of view.

I have to disagree with you that the CN's, NMB, o even NPR attacking the Bush administartion. Theyalso did not hide the troubl that Clnton got into either.

There was no playing dead and giving any administartion a passs until FOX flew into the "news" wars. Let's be serious here even the opinion talking heads on FOX are virtuall all one sided.

I am very strictly on topic since my example was one of relationships. Obama had a very casual realtionship with ACORN where as Cheney actually worked for HALIBURTIN as a high ranking executive. You guys are yapping about ACORN not that you are so concerned about whether or not they did anything wong but becaue you want to tied Obama to they in your overactive partisanship.

It seems to me that some people watch certain networks in order to hear what they wantto hear and not to get the truth.

There are people that I know who cannot distinguish between news and what Saun Vannity, KIETH UBBERMAN, Glenn Wreck, and Rachel Madcow do.

What on earth does Acorn have to do with someone getting shot? Can we try to stay on topic just once? I didn't say I was concerned its just if you were so concerned about some supposed bias towards acorn then why weren't you concerned when the vice president was profiting as well as his former company for military contracts it received? Seems a little one sided.

You still didn't answer my question. Deejay originally said they got 8.5 billion in the stimulus. So I asked do you have proof of that. So now do you have proof that ACORN stands to gain any of that figure or are you just speculating?

Several of your stories seem not to know the difference between voter registration fraud and voter fraud. You have workers who were turned in by ACORN to the government and fired. You do know that acorn has to report all registration cards even those that look suspicious when they turn them in? The reason you hear about these stories is because acorn turned the cards over according to the law. Now for voter fraud to actually occur all these fake voters would have to actually show up and try to vote. Now there's a difference between what ACORN did and what other companies who got sued for fraud because they were throwing out valid voter registration cards by party.

Now one actually can sway an election while the other can't. Can you guess which one?

Aww more hackery. Sorry I don't read the huffpo so unless you have something more substantial than republican blogs talking about Acorn supposedly receiving money. I'd say this is just about as credible as the claim of the bullet train from disneyland to the bunny ranch.

You said they're getting stimulus funding. That's a pretty definitive statement and not as speculative as your blog sources on the google. Factcheck already disputed this claim:

No excuses being realistic here. I think maybe you're looking a little too hard here. The people who were responsible were fired and prosecuted. Now which is worse people trying to get paid and making up names of people who will never vote. Or a private contractor who would only take Republican registrations and threw out actual democratic voters registrations which one can **** up an election? Voter fraud is something that is not widespread in this country.
