As one who served in the company of "50" reporters in the 1st gulf war, I disagree.... 100 aint worth one.

Saving one Reporter is very important, since they are the ones who invented or exagarated bad news and basically lost the war in Vietnam for the US army. So perhaps this idiot can will now write some pro Military stories and junk.

This is why I believe we should have a "enter at your own risk, you are on your own" policy regarding countries that are warzones and hostile enemy countries. No member of the military, politician, former politician(regardless if I like or despise that politician) or anyone else should risk their life for that of a dumb ass who chose to enter one of these countries.

If civilians are not being restrained by the military, then some-one is not doing their job.
Afghanistan is one huge war zone, no place for reporters.
